They had thought Li Ge would design an ability for himself that could obtain vast amounts of energy, or strengthen the Energy Absorption ability he already possessed.
They had not expected that, after absorbing so much energy from Cyclops, Li Ge would instead materialize such an unremarkable little red cube.
The cube looked like compressed energy.
Could Li Ge's so-called solution to his energy needs simply be to keep compressing Cyclops's optic blast energy like this?
At that thought, the X-Men's gazes took on a hint of sympathy as they turned toward Cyclops.
But what could they do? Of all their abilities, Cyclops's was the best suited to supplying large amounts of energy for Li Ge to absorb.
It seemed that, to help Li Ge achieve energy independence sooner, Cyclops would just have to suffer a little!
Cyclops naturally noticed the X-Men's gazes, and the same possibility occurred to him.
His expression grew bitter, then turned resolute.
After all, Li Ge's energy reserves were not just for himself, but also to help more of their fellow mutants.

Cyclops voiced his thoughts directly, expressing his willingness to keep supplying energy for Li Ge to store.

"From now on, unless the universe explodes, I'll never run short of energy again!"

Logan also spoke in a surprised tone. Even an old relic like him knew that anything involving the universe was no simple matter.

As women, Phoenix and Storm were more sensitive, and they fully understood the power of this Redstone cube, as well as the incredible nature of Li Ge's ability.
Although Cyclops was also astonished by the power of the Redstone Li Ge had materialized, he quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
It seemed he would not have to keep serving as Li Ge's energy source and power bank.
"Yes, Professor!"
"You heard me right! That's what Redstone can do!"
"It took me a lot of effort to come up with this solution to my energy needs. After all, what in this world could possibly possess more energy than the universe?"
"Of course, I wasn't expecting a single piece of Redstone to store infinite energy. Even if it could, I wouldn't design it that way."
"So I can know exactly how much energy I have in the future, I specifically designed a storage limit for Redstone."
"Once the stored energy reaches the equivalent of one sun, any additional energy the Redstone absorbs will begin condensing into new Redstone."
"So from now on, as long as I still have one piece of Redstone, I'll never lack energy again!"
After hearing Li Ge's detailed explanation, the Professor and the others were so shocked that they were somewhat at a loss for words.

It was like a rotten orange someone had inadvertently left in a corner, which had unwittingly developed into a kingdom of mold.
And the person had not even noticed that rotten orange existed!

"But I hope you won't reveal Redstone's existence. We mutants are already in a very difficult position."
"If those ambitious schemers learn of Redstone's existence, they certainly won't leave you alone."
"The energy of one sun-or rather, infinite energy. No ambitious schemer could resist its temptation!"
The Professor truly lived up to his position as a mutant leader who had dealt with humans for decades. Even shaken by Redstone's power, he could quickly consider humanity's reaction.
Humans already coveted mutants' abilities, and now there was someone like Li Ge, who had even created a treasure like Redstone that could practically be called an infinite source of energy.
