• Li Ge states that he can destroy a universe at full power, create worlds, manipulate spacetime, and travel through the multiverse. He nevertheless considers himself below the multiversal threshold he associates with a Daluo Golden Immortal 689.
• His capabilities are described as effectively omnipotent below Universal Level, including creating life, granting wishes, and reversing spacetime. This is not unrestricted omnipotence 691.

Dream Cultivation

These stages occur during a dream sequence, not as a confirmed reset or replacement of his waking cultivation 728 729.

Background / History

Reincarnation and Mutant Academy

Before reincarnation, Li Ge drifted between jobs and spent his free time reading novels and watching videos. His past-life memories returned at sixteen after he witnessed a newly awakened mutant kill his girlfriend. His parents initially mistook his resulting distress for trauma from the incident 1.

Already a gifted scientist and professional-level artist, he investigated his awakening through painting and sculpture. Once he understood that his designs could grant powers to other people, he resolved to change both mutant society and the wider Marvel world 2.

Professor X invited him to the mutant academy after recognizing the implications of his ability. Li Ge accepted access to the community but rejected both Xavier’s and Magneto’s political camps. At the academy, he restored Beast’s human form, improved his abilities, and recorded scientific and mutant research in his Divinity 11 31 34.

Magic and the Path to Godhood

Recognizing that imagination could not replace an understanding of laws, Li Ge studied at Kamar-Taj under the Ancient One’s permission. He consulted Wong, Mordo, and other sorcerers while developing a power system suited to the world’s existing supernatural abilities 43 44.

His proposed Path to Godhood exchanged access to power for the knowledge and experience generated by its practitioners. Rather than personally cultivate every ability, he intended to learn from the many different ways recipients developed them 54 58.

He also prepared special Divinities for his parents. Their safety mattered enough to him that he rejected simply giving them a few convenient powers; he wanted foundations capable of handling the dangers his own ambitions might attract 53 55 56.

Public Intervention and Expansion Across Worlds

Li Ge confiscated Bald Eagle’s weapons, absorbed the energy of nuclear missiles, and proposed making the country truly belong to mutants. After releasing his full power, he temporarily could not compress himself back to normal size. He later appropriated Apocalypse’s body as a mobile incarnation while storing Apocalypse’s consciousness separately 104 113.

In Asgard, Odin acknowledged him as an equal in power and allowed Loki to work for him. Li Ge studied Asgardian knowledge, experimented with runes and the Eternal Flame, and considered adding equipment and cultivation resources to the Nine Heavens 145 179.

During the Chitauri invasion, Li Ge admitted that he had guided Loki and steered events toward the original timeline. Tony condemned his manipulation, but Li Ge denied feeling guilty and chose the invasion as the occasion to reveal the Nine Heavens through a colossal golden manifestation 262.

The Nine Heavens and Samsara Realm subsequently offered supernatural advancement, soul refuge, private rooms, and exchange functions. Their spread disrupted existing social hierarchies, while Li Ge’s changes eventually placed four timelines beyond Fate’s control 283 356.

Transformation, Disciples, and the Church

While his main body transformed, a clone handled much of Li Ge’s activity outside seclusion. That clone accepted Wanda as his partner and acknowledged David and James as disciples—commitments the original later upheld 446 493 520.

Li Ge obtained permission to establish a sect in the Eastern Nation and set out with Wanda and Pietro to create a flying immortal mountain. Arale served as his retainer and religious representative, while Wanda later received responsibility for Church of Divine Revelation affairs 424 461 513.

After awakening, the original recalled his clone and transformed the God Tree into the All-Encompassing Heaven Colored Lotus. He reassured Wanda that the clone’s memories and feelings were his own 492 500.

Assimilation and Cosmic Projects

Li Ge consulted the Ancient One about separating a universe onto its own timeline, replicated the heavens, and prepared the Tower Reaching Heaven as a replacement for the earlier structures. Kaecilius and Dormammu stole the tower, leading into Li Ge’s confrontation with the Dark Dimension 512 524 531 536.

Although he outmatched Dormammu’s repertoire of attacks, an ambush stranded him in spacetime turbulence. He used his Six Paths clones to search for exits and refined his control of laws while drifting between worlds 558 559 564.

Li Ge then selected the Zombie World for assimilation, using its Peter’s desire to save survivors to spread his power. His Solar System project employed Source Script and the Assimilation Array, while celestial bodies were reforged into vessels for elemental powers. Asgard was relocated inside the transformed Sun 566 580 610.

To support assimilation without directly rewriting past events, he sent Animal Path through the Zombie World’s timeline to collect people’s souls at death. Earth’s consciousness began cooperating, and he discovered that the past timeline was collapsing toward the present as though forming a new universe 697.

He later entered a black hole to condense Rule Stones. After the intervening dream sequences, he collected fifteen floating balls of light and reduced his enormous body to human size while retaining his demon-god appearance 713 715 728 729 730 732.

Appearance

• His human disguise conceals his bodily patterns and leaves his brow eye as a closed vertical mark 493.
• Directly viewing his revealed eyes can overwhelm observers; he has to warn and shield Peter and the others 524.

Personality

Li Ge combines enormous ambition with a strong preference for leisure. He enjoys fishing, reclining, teasing friends, and watching extraordinary events as entertainment. Once he considers a plan sufficiently prepared, he readily takes a break rather than continuing to work without interruption 6 75 78 222.

His apparent laziness does not prevent sustained intellectual effort. Once he decides to establish a new power system, he immerses himself in magical study and insists on understanding principles rather than remaining dependent on raw talent 43 44.

He is affectionate toward his parents and protective of people close to him, but does not extend that attachment automatically to alternate versions of familiar faces. His treatment of the Zombie World’s Peter is explicitly strategic rather than equivalent to his friendship with the main-world Peter 53 62 566.

His morality becomes increasingly detached and selective. He rejects turning an entire population into puppets, yet later proposes brainwashing political leaders and controls Carol Danvers because he finds it more convenient than arguing with her. He also regards copied beings as creations he has the right to destroy 215 385 475 684.

As his level of existence rises, Li Ge places greater weight on cause and effect, reciprocity, and reverence. He remains willing to offer advancement to people who privately resent him, but excludes openly malicious beneficiaries from his path. At the same time, he increasingly respects his friends’ independent choices rather than intervening in every decision 525 637 715.
