"Logan! Is he all right?"
"Professor, hurry and take a look. What's happening to Li Ge?"
"Could his ability have gone out of control?"
The X-Men quickly reacted as well, all deeply concerned about Li Ge's condition.
"Jean, Ororo, Scott, don't panic. Let me take a good look at Li Ge."
"Jean, push me over."
After reassuring them, the Professor quickly reached Li Ge's side with Phoenix's help. Wolverine had already laid him flat on the ground.
He no longer cared whether Li Ge's Energy Absorption ability would absorb his psychic energy.
The Professor sent his mind straight toward Li Ge's head.
To his surprise, Li Ge's ability did not obstruct his probe this time, and he successfully extended his mind deep into Li Ge's mind.
Inside Li Ge's mind, the Professor saw none of the familiar things-fragments of memory, scenes that had left deep impressions...
He saw only nothingness, emptiness, and chaos, like the absolute silence at the universe's beginning, blank yet fathomless.
It was the first time the Professor had seen such an utterly empty mental space, and even his face in the outside world showed surprise.
But now was not the time to investigate such things.
The Professor increased his output of psychic energy and expanded the reach of his mind, searching Li Ge's mind inch by inch for his consciousness, or rather, his soul.
Finally, through his tireless efforts, the Professor found Li Ge floating at the center of the mental space.
Yet at that moment, he stopped his attempt to investigate.
A rare look of bewilderment appeared on his face. He did not know what to do and was unsure what he had seen.
The X-Men, who had long since grown anxious waiting, immediately began asking questions when they saw the Professor lower the fingers pressed against his temple.
"Professor, Li Ge is all right, isn't he?"
"Is there anything we can do to help?"
"Could Li Ge's soul have been hit by the impact of opening up the space?"
"Right! Didn't Li Ge say that the abilities he designed would bind to a person's soul?"
"Wouldn't that make things troublesome?"
"Damn it! Neither souls nor space are simple things. There's nothing we can do!"
The Professor did not answer the X-Men's questions. What he had seen in Li Ge's mind left him unable to come to his senses for a long time.
When the Professor continued not to answer, the X-Men finally noticed something was wrong with him.
"Professor, are you all right?"
"What exactly did you see?"
As a mutant who also possessed psychic probing abilities, Phoenix quickly realized that the Professor must have seen something incredible.
"Jean! You won't believe what I saw in Li Ge's mental space!"
"It was as though I saw a god!"
The Professor clearly had yet to recover from what he had just felt.
Even his voice was thick with shock.
"A god? What god?"
"Does that have anything to do with Li Ge passing out?"
Storm was baffled. What did Li Ge passing out have to do with a god?
"Professor, could you explain more clearly?"
"Right now, we just want to know what happened to Li Ge."
Cyclops pressed him again about Li Ge's condition. He did not want anything to happen to Li Ge.
Wolverine merely frowned deeply, keeping his eyes fixed on the Professor's face.
Agitated, he instinctively reached for another cigar to light, but when he saw Li Ge lying on the ground, he only held it between his lips without lighting it.
Faced with Cyclops's questions, the Professor finally suppressed some of his shock.
"Oh, Scott, I don't think there's anything wrong with Li Ge."
"He should simply be undergoing a transformation right now-a transformation from human to god!"
The X-Men could hardly believe their ears!
Had they heard him wrong?
Was becoming a god really that easy?
Before all their eyes, Li Ge had merely given himself an ability to open up a storage space.
Was having a storage space all it took to become a god?
The Professor naturally knew what he was saying.
Had he not seen that scene in Li Ge's mental space, even he would not have believed his own words.
"You could never guess what I saw in Li Ge's mental space!"
"I saw a giant-Li Ge himself-creating a world!"
As it turned out, when the Professor had found Li Ge just now, he had happened to see him opening up a dimensional space.
At the time, Li Ge had been using his mind to control the grass block as it merged into the blue block.
Everything had been going smoothly, but the instant they completely merged, the laws inscribed within the grass block began growing increasingly active.
They were like a pack of hungry beasts spotting a helpless lamb, frantically trying to pounce.
As the owner of the Divinity, Li Ge was naturally affected when something like this happened.
And so his consciousness was pulled into his mental space.
At first, Li Ge had been somewhat at a loss, but as he looked at the laws he had inscribed within the grass block and thought of his space-opening ability,
a formula suddenly appeared in his mind-laws + newly opened space = world.
Li Ge immediately understood the reason.
That's right!
What I wanted to do was open up a small dimensional space, not merely a storage space.
When laws merged into this dimensional space, and those laws could begin functioning properly by relying on that dimensional space,
the two became like dry tinder meeting a raging fire, or a bomb's fuse being lit, suddenly surging with activity.
At a time like this, someone needed to guide them.
Otherwise, if the fire burned in the wrong place or the explosion went in the wrong direction, fixing it afterward would be rather troublesome.
Once he understood all this, Li Ge immediately knew what he needed to do.
Naturally, he would play "Pangu" and preside over the creation of a dimensional world.
Yes, a world!
Although he did not intend to open up a very large space all at once, what else could a space with laws be called but a world?
Even the smallest world was still a world!
The grass block had completely disappeared, and the blue block representing the space-opening ability was fluctuating violently.
With no time to explain the situation to the Professor and the others, Li Ge drew most of his consciousness inward, tightened his grip on the Redstone in his hand, and relinquished control of his body, retaining only the awareness needed to absorb the energy within the Redstone.
He was not worried about his enhanced body being harmed. He trusted the Professor and the others' character.
Then Li Ge drew the Divinity out of his soul and instead sent his soul into the Divinity.
Treating the Divinity as primordial chaos, himself as "Pangu," and the blue space-opening ability block as an "eggshell," he stood inside the block.
Under Li Ge's guidance, changes constantly took place within the blue block.
Beneath Li Ge's feet, illusory, flat green ground spread outward in every direction with him at its center, with the occasional square tree rising from the earth.
Familiar yet unfamiliar block-shaped animals-pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, and others-suddenly appeared on the ground from time to time, nibbling at the block-shaped flowers and grass that appeared alongside them.
Above Li Ge's head, a square white sun hung in the sky.
Clouds made of piled-up blocks drifted lazily across the blue sky.
Beneath the surface, layers of earth and stone, along with various minerals, gradually added to the ground's thickness.
As Li Ge continued guiding it with his mind, this world grew more complete little by little.
Of course, all of this consisted of illusory images formed from energy. After all, the energy within the Redstone was not yet sufficient for Li Ge to turn all these things into reality.
He could only slowly fill them with energy in the future.
As the saying went, appearance arose from the heart.
Within this mental space of his own, as Li Ge performed this act of creating a world,
he unconsciously saw himself as "Pangu," standing tall between heaven and earth.
The Professor happened to find him at that moment, and what he saw was a magnificent mythical scene of Pangu separating heaven and earth and creating all things in the world.
He was instantly awestruck.
