His vision had just cleared from the distortion of the spatial transfer.
Sitting casually on a chair, Shadowcat could not resist testing the storage space ability Li Ge had mentioned.
With just a little probing, she clearly established a connection with a space in her consciousness.
On closer inspection, the space was not large. Just as Li Ge had said, it was one cubic meter at most.
Excited, Shadowcat instinctively wanted to put something into the space.
Sometimes, hands reacted faster than the brain. Without thinking, she put the chair beneath her into the storage space.
By the time she realized what she had done, her backside had already made intimate contact with the floor.
"Ow-"
"My butt!"
Shadowcat had moved so quickly that she had done all of this before anyone else could react.
Now everyone's attention was drawn to her.
"Kitty, are you all right?"
Storm was closest to Shadowcat and had seen her put the chair into her storage space perfectly clearly.
She immediately found it both funny and exasperating.
Seeing that one chair was clearly missing, the others also realized what had happened.
One by one, they tried out their own storage spaces.
Perhaps because Shadowcat had taken the lead, the chairs in the conference room became their test subjects.
Before long, only a table remained in the entire conference room.
The Professor was the first to interrupt them. He exchanged a glance with Magneto, and both turned their attention to the crystal ball in Li Ge's hand.
"Li Ge, are you planning to merge the crystal ball world directly into the spatial gap here?"
Although the Professor was very hesitant when it came to relations between mutants and humans, he was not the least bit indecisive about something that concerned the mutants' future.
"Of course, Professor!"
"The sooner it merges into the spatial gap, the sooner this world can start expanding. It can also provide the school with a safeguard."
"There's another question. What do you think this world should be called? We can't keep calling it the crystal ball world forever, can we?"
Li Ge gave the Professor an affirmative answer while also raising a question.
Cyclops and Beast looked at each other. They had always followed the Professor's arrangements, and now, after remaining silent for so long, both looked straight at him.
Storm had the same idea as they did.
Although Shadowcat looked eager to give this world a nice name,
seeing how everyone else was acting, she could only choose to remain silent.
And Mystique?
She was looking thoughtfully at Li Ge, paying no attention to the question of the world's name.
"Charles, give our world a name!"
Magneto was a pragmatic man, and he handed the opportunity to name it straight to the Professor.
Seeing everyone waiting for his answer, the Professor did not decline. After a moment's thought, he said:
"Krakoa!"
"This world will become a sanctuary for mutants. Its mystery and power will bring mutants new hope."
Magneto nodded in agreement. This world truly was a sanctuary for mutants.
"You're right, Charles. This world is the hope of mutants."
Li Ge had not expected that even a world he had designed and created himself would end up being named Krakoa by the Professor.
Was this name destined to belong to Mutants Nation?
Still, he did not care about these details.
"Li Ge, what are you thinking about? Is there something wrong with the name the Professor chose?"
At that moment, Shadowcat came over to Li Ge, rubbing her backside.
"Nothing. I just think this name really suits this world."
Of course, Li Ge would not tell her about the connection between the name Krakoa and mutants. He casually found an excuse to brush her off.
"Since no one has any more questions, I'll merge Krakoa directly into the spatial gap here."
Glancing at the people who had remained silent, Li Ge turned his gaze to the Professor and Magneto.
Naturally, the Professor and the others had no objections and signaled for him to begin.
When Li Ge designed the spatial backpacks in his own world, he had already become adept at using his spatial abilities.
But now he was opening a spatial gap in the real world and merging a World Seed into it. Even Li Ge was uncertain what would happen.
Still, he was confident that no matter what happened, he could protect everyone.
But to reduce the chance of anything unexpected happening, Li Ge still had everyone go to the underground training ground together. It was sturdy enough.
At the training ground, they also saw the Phoenix sisters and Wolverine. Dark Phoenix's presence greatly shocked Magneto, Mystique, and even Shadowcat.
The Professor and the others had kept Dark Phoenix well hidden. After all, her existence was an incredible miracle for the school.
But now that they even had a world exclusively for mutants, there was no longer any need to hide her existence.
It was worth mentioning that Dark Phoenix now had a real flesh-and-blood body rather than an energy body.
It seemed Phoenix and Wolverine were much more at ease with her now.
Wolverine and Magneto were as antagonistic as ever, while Mystique and Shadowcat gathered around Phoenix and Dark Phoenix, looking them over.
The fact that the Professor could stand only surprised them for a moment. After all, Li Ge, someone who represented miracles in their eyes, was right before them.
What puzzled them most was why they had brought Magneto and Mystique down here.
Cyclops and the other two briefly explained the situation to them, telling them about Krakoa.
Once everyone had calmed down, Li Ge told them to move farther away from him and stood alone in the center of the training ground.
Holding the crystal ball in his left hand, Li Ge clenched his right fist and smashed it straight into the space before him.
Crack, crack! Crack-
As the sound of breaking glass rang out, the Professor and the others clearly saw cracks eerily appear in the space before Li Ge.
After the cracks appeared, the surrounding air began to fluctuate violently, rushing toward them with a howl.
Li Ge continued moving. Under the horrified gazes of the Professor and the others, he thrust his right hand straight into a spatial crack.
With a sideways wrench, Li Ge broke off a glasslike piece as though snapping a biscuit and held it in his hand.
Everyone at the edge of the training ground grew solemn. Even without an explanation, they could see exactly what Li Ge had done.
He had broken off a fragment of space with his bare hand!
An obvious hole appeared in the space before Li Ge, exposing the chaotic spatial turbulence within.
Energy rays of indescribable colors darted about chaotically inside the hole. A powerful suction suddenly erupted, trying to swallow Li Ge and everything around him.
But Li Ge was clearly unaffected. Every force that tried to act upon him was converted into energy by his Energy Absorption ability and stored in the dimensional world.
