This was Xiao Baijing's first time writing a book, or rather, writing this many words. Some bugs cropped up during the writing process, along with some points that readers couldn't understand. Please bear with me and have a little more patience.
This might be an issue of differing perspectives. I've constructed the story in my head, so certain parts seem reasonable to me, but you fine readers don't have some of the key information, so you don't know what I'm talking about.
There were also some minor continuity bugs, most of which I've corrected. This has something to do with my writing part-time at the moment: sometimes my train of thought gets interrupted, and I'll run off to a meeting halfway through a chapter, then come back and keep writing. Of course, part of it also comes down to writing experience. This really is my very first full-length novel, after all.
You don't need to worry about me quitting or anything. Ever since I said I'd write 4,000 words a day, I haven't missed a single day, have I? Hehe, thank you all, my fine readers, for your support.
Let me answer a few points here that I think you might be interested in:
First, the protagonist mutated into a witcher, but he still retained his fertility. The system used magic to negate the side effect of becoming a eunuch. How could I possibly turn the protagonist into a eunuch, right?
Second, the assassin issue. I admit I didn't explain this clearly in the story. I have my own understanding of whether he should have been reported right then. I still have a use for this character later. Besides his connection to Littlefinger, his own identity will also play a role later, so I let him live.
Third, the protagonist's development. You should be able to figure this one out: if House Stark doesn't weaken, how can the protagonist develop as their vassal? I imagine you wouldn't like the protagonist turning his blade on House Stark either. Personally, though, I have some baseline affection for the characters in House Stark, so I'll arrange a relatively good ending for them. It won't be a case of their family being destroyed and everyone dropping dead.
Fourth, the protagonist's own family situation. I honestly don't know what to say about this one. Some of you actually wanted the protagonist to go the incest route... Ahem, no need for that, no need. I'll give Wynafryd and Wylla what I consider a good ending. I won't give them away.
You've probably noticed that everything the protagonist is doing now is preparation for war. It also wouldn't be realistic to have him run off to King's Landing right now, assassinate the king, and throw the whole place into chaos.
Until Eddard is arrested in King's Landing, I won't make any major changes to the overall plot. The protagonist will simply lay his plans quietly as he develops, but once war breaks out, he will definitely play a crucial role in it. The War of the Five Kings won't end the way it did before.
Lastly, there are the plans for dragons and gods. Rest assured, the protagonist won't keep putting off hatching them forever. Aside from the bloodline issue, dragons, when used properly, are nukes in this world. If you want to reach the top, you have to have them, unless you plan to keep lying low until the very end.
As for the gods, that's an extrapolation of my own. The original is called A Song of Ice and Fire, after all. As for the Three-Eyed Crow, that issue will definitely be resolved later. It's not as if the protagonist could really let Him use him as a pawn.
Finally, there's the question of the female lead. This one is very simple: whatever position the protagonist reaches, he'll have women to match. You understand what I mean, right?
That's about it. Feel free to share your thoughts in posts or chapter comments. Just remember to keep your tone a little gentler; we're all human, after all. At the next 100,000-word mark, which should be around the time before the novel goes premium, I'll do another recap and have another chat with you all.
