The Snake People Race once lived within Jia Ma Empire territory but was driven into the Tagore Desert after the empire killed more than half of its powerhouses. The surviving race lacked the strength to challenge the empire for many years. 124 126

In the Tagore Desert, Queen Medusa ruled the tribes from their major city. Her appearance during the Eight-winged Black Serpent Emperor's demand for an audience prevented the immediate collapse of the standoff, though the race's lower-ranking experts were badly outmatched by the Six-star Dou Huang intruder. 6 36

Chen Xuan later arrived with powerful Monster Beast subordinates and sought to marry Medusa. His procession initially prompted the Snake People patrols and powerhouses to prepare for an invasion; the race accepted the marriage after he presented a Bloodline Pill. 75

The wedding united Chen Xuan and Medusa politically as well as personally. As Medusa's sole husband, Chen Xuan gained influence comparable to an elder within the Snake People Race. 76

With Medusa's breakthrough and Chen Xuan's backing, the eight tribes marched out of the desert and captured Mo City. Their campaign was driven by resentment over their expulsion and the need to secure a viable homeland beyond the resource-poor desert. 124 125

After the Jia Ma Empire ceded territory, the race established a central city near the Monster Beast Mountain Range. The eight major tribes received separate fiefdoms but remained under Medusa's authority. 144

Much later, Chen Xuan relocated the Snake People Race through a wormhole to the Beast Region, where they settled in the Nether Serpent Mountain Range. 288
