Rinto pushed his chakra configurations from single attributes to a stable, rapidly switching five-attribute design while resisting Orochimaru’s demands and pursuit from Konoha and other villages. After escaping a raid on his mountain laboratory with his essential research, he headed south to develop tools for hiding and defeating future pursuers.
Rinto developed a full-body senjutsu circulation and combined it with his nature-transformation research while evading Root, Orochimaru, and other pursuers. After leaving the Land of Whirlpools to investigate Yin-Yang Release, he acquired rare manuscripts and Jiraiya’s help, then continued toward the Land of Waterfalls while refining Yang Release.
Rinto refined Yin-Yang Release and Senjutsu configurations, shared practical chakra research, and treated shinobi across Konoha. By the end, his work had improved the village barrier and expanded into genjutsu injuries and medicinal plants, while he declined a conference about the Akatsuki.
Rinto strengthened Konoha’s defenses and developed systems for senjutsu, medicine, and shinobi techniques in exchange for data and records. As war preparations continued, he left each client with detailed plans and ongoing reporting requirements while broadening his research into chakra, Yin-Yang Release, and the body.
Rinto refined a universal chakra system and delivered upgrades to Konoha’s shinobi, barriers, and medical teams. When Pain invaded and devastated the village, Rinto remained secluded, studying the Rinnegan and its mechanisms as Tsunade faced the possibility that he was Konoha’s last hope.
Rinto saved Konoha’s severely wounded, researched Rinne Rebirth and the Six Paths, and helped rebuild the village’s infrastructure and defenses. When Impure World Reincarnation brought the dead onto the battlefield, he developed countermeasures while gathering samples, ending with a fragment of Hashirama Senju for analysis.
