Notable Locations
| Location | Description |
|---|---|

| Ancient Dao Mountain | Primordial divine mountain covered in Dao patterns from High Antiquity; the site of the Eternal Dao Gathering 3. |
| Myriad Dao Plaza | Vast plaza at Ancient Dao Mountain’s summit where the gathering’s contests and assembly take place 3. |

Realms Beyond the Heavens
| Realm | Relationship to the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds |
|---|---|
| Outer Chaos | Lies beyond the heavens’ barrier. It lacks ordinary directions, the passage of time, and the rules of heaven and earth; its Chaos Qi can destroy a Great Emperor’s body and soul 4 5. |
| Heaven Beyond Heaven Domain | A higher realm transcending both the heavens and chaos, reached through the Chaos Heavenly Road. Great Emperors of the heavens are merely entry-level cultivators there 5 9. |
| Realm of Nothingness | Lin Chen enters it after leaving the Heavenly Domain. His arrival is sensed throughout the heavens, chaos, and the Heavenly Domain 10. |
| Chaos Beyond the Worlds | Unknown territory accessible through a hazy gate in the core. The nine Supremes fear entering it; its chaotic presence can instantly annihilate an Immortal Emperor 32. |
- Broader usage: Lin Chen also uses “the myriad worlds” collectively for the heavens, chaos, heavenly domains, void, and Primordial Realm. This broader description is distinct from passages that identify the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds separately from chaos and higher realms 5 14.
Inhabitants and Powers
Races and Cultivation Society
- The heavens initially operate through competition for strength, treasures, inheritances, and territory. Killing for valuables and seizing souls or bodies are described as everyday dangers 1.
- Their inhabitants include the Dragon Race, Ancient Phoenix Clan, Demon Race, Devil Race, Nether Race, God Race, Elf Race, and numerous other peoples 3 13.
- Ancient clans inhabit secluded secret realms, while primordial beasts dwell deep within the sea of stars 32.
- Cultivation physiques range from mortal bodies → spirit bodies → sacred bodies → emperor bodies → chaos bodies, with enormous differences between ranks 1.
| Power or Institution | Position |
|---|---|
| Great Emperors | Initially presented as the publicly known summit of the heavens. They preside over domains, rarely appear, and command the deference of holy lands and lesser cultivators 2. |
| Three Emperor Realms | Represented by the Heaven-Burning Great Emperor, East Sea Great Emperor, and Devil Abyss Great Emperor at the Eternal Dao Gathering 3. |
| Mystic Heaven Holy Land | An upper-middle-ranking holy land whose standing rose sharply after Daoist Zixu secured Lin Chen’s attendance at the gathering 3. |
| Primordial imperial clans | Powers including the Primordial Dragon Clan, Ancient Phoenix Clan, and Nine Nether Qilin Clan, all present at the Primordial Divine Ruins 4. |
| Chaos Divine Hall | An external power older than any faction in the heavens. Although it traditionally avoids their affairs, even Great Emperors revere it 5. |
| Nine Supremes of All Heavens | The true rulers identified in the heavens’ deepest reaches. After submitting to Lin Chen, they retain administrative duties as his Dao guardians 31 32. |

History
Lin Chen’s Emergence
After spending a hundred thousand years signing in within the God-Burying Abyss, Lin Chen emerged with power beyond the world’s limits. His presence spread throughout the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds, and three Great Emperors came to offer their service. He subsequently erased the abyss with a wave 1 2.
News of his appearance reached Emperor Realms, holy lands, remote towns, and mortal domains. At the Eternal Dao Gathering, the assembled powers bowed before him. After intervening in the contests, he left to explore the heavens, later visiting the Primordial Divine Ruins and crossing into Outer Chaos 3 4.
Recognition Across the Realms
When Lin Chen opened the gate to Heaven Beyond Heaven, beings throughout the heavens and chaos honored him as the Chaos Ancestor of the Heavens. The heavens’ leading factions later worshipped him following his rise within the Heavenly Domain and the perfection of his Dao heart 5 10 12.
After the Hongmeng Origin acknowledged Lin Chen, the myriad worlds entered an era of peace. He entrusted their care to the Void Dao Lord before departing beyond known existence. Later accounts describe flourishing mortal life, an end to cultivation-world strife, and harmony among the realms 13 14 18.
Expansion Beyond the Azure Mysterious Domain
Chu Xuan unlocked the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds as a system map after claiming the Heavenly Evolution Sacred Fruit. Further rewards granted him full sign-in access across the heavens, and he departed the Azure Mysterious Domain to travel through them 22 23.
Lin Chen also turned toward the wider heavens after subduing the Azure Mysterious Domain’s factions. His Chaos Qi pierced the domain’s barriers and connected to the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds, causing its powers and inhabitants to bow beneath his presence 25.
Unification Through the Eternal Realm
Seven supreme beings assembled an army against Lin Chen, including thirty-six primordial Saint Kings, 108 Immortal Emperors, and more than a thousand Half-Emperors. Their destruction ended their challenge to his supremacy, and the myriad realms submitted to him 27 28.
Lin Chen then created the Eternal Realm in uncleaved primordial chaos at the edge of the heavens. Envoys of the Immortal Realm, Devil Realm, Demon Realm, and other races offered treasures and requested entry. His acceptance united the heavens and myriad realms under his rule 28.
In the ensuing peaceful age, former supreme rulers assumed duties guarding star domains and maintaining order. Wars between realms ceased, cultivators pursued cultivation without obstruction, and mortals enjoyed long lives 29.
Submission of the Nine Supremes
When Lin Chen crossed from the lower realms into the heart of the All Heavens, its hidden Supremes attempted to seal the passages to preserve their established balance. His will overwhelmed them, and all nine pledged to recognize him as the common ruler of the myriad worlds 31 32.
At the All Heavens Supreme Seat, Lin Chen obtained authority over the heavens’ power and laws. He appointed the nine Supremes as Dao guardians, ordered the lower-realm passage sealed against unauthorized travel, and instructed them to prevent unrest. After exploring the Chaos Beyond the Worlds, he returned to find them awaiting him, then departed to observe a prosperous star region where myriad races coexisted 32.
A later assembly again urged Lin Chen to establish a supreme divine temple and govern all existence. He declined, explaining that his journey had never been undertaken for conquest, slaughter, or dominion 35.
Governance and Authority
- Ultimate authority: Lin Chen’s Authority over the All Heavens allows him to command all power within the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds and alter its rules 32.
- Source of power: The All Heavens Great Dao Origin is identified as the source of power for the entire expanse 32.
- Delegated administration: The nine Supremes continue presiding over the heavens as Dao guardians, leaving Lin Chen free to travel and explore 32.
- Senior guardian: The Heaven-Opening Dao Venerable is the foremost of the nine Supremes and issues instructions to the others 32.
- Lower-realm access: No one may enter or leave through the sealed passage without Lin Chen’s permission. He imposes this restriction so that those below can cultivate in peace 32.
