Su Yi pursued the Heavenly Dao’s plans for Ye Xiaoxuan while Earth prepared for threats from the Immortal Realm and beyond. Disguised as Sect Leader Tongtian’s disciple, he entered Ice Wind City and uncovered a plot to free Jiuying, leaving the ancient dragon loose and terrified of him.

• Su Yi learned that Li Qingyuan had created demon-king gene injections, then saw satellite footage of the Immortal Realm appearing beside Earth and agreed with Old Yang to keep it secret.
• Su Yi arranged for visitors from the Immortal Realm to register and follow local laws, while Dijiang and the Witch Gods descended to Earth and Sect Leader Tongtian reclaimed his Four Immortal-Slaying Swords.
• Su Yi investigated the Heavenly Dao after it intervened to save Ye Xiaxuan, beat its avatar, and learned that it had chosen her as a guardian, and he then trained her to fight Han Zhen.

• Su Yi recognized that the ruins were a cover for Jiuying’s seal near God-Weeping Ridge, then confronted Nangong Si and led him to Numinous Buddha Temple as Jiang Wuying gathered other experts there.
• Bodhisattva Chugainiezhang challenged Su Yi, who killed him with the Purple Lightning Hammer and flattened the temple, freeing the ancient true dragon, which recognized Su Yi and trembled.

Su Yi freed Jiuying, forced Bian Zhuang into his plans, and assembled a new group for a journey to retrieve Sun Wukong. He left Ye Xiaxuan to find her own way through the Immortal Realm while weighing the Heavenly Dao’s influence over them.

• Su Yi pressured the demons and demigods to share the ancient true dragon’s treasures, then invited them to join the Jie Sect.
• Su Yi made Jinchanzi discard his cultivation and arranged for him to take the Buddha’s place, then recruited Jiang Wuying and freed Jiuying from God-Weeping Ridge.

• Su Yi accompanied Zhao Gongming to the Moon Palace, where he confronted Wu Gang and Chang'e welcomed him despite her resentment over her sisters’ lives.
• Dijun offered to ally with Su Yi, but Su Yi declined to join the Demon Clan’s plans and directed Dijun to help Ye Xiaxuan gain combat experience.
• Su Yi returned to Ye Xiaxuan and watched her spend days refining a Nine-Fall Spirit Cold Pill, which he restored after her final attempt failed.
• Ye Xiaxuan sold the pill to Tang Qiye, trained with Immortal Spirit Coins, and told Su Yi she planned to grow stronger and rescue Sun Wukong.
