His first experiences are of cold, hunger, and fear. Unable initially to walk, he crawls into a limestone cave and learns to shelter its entrance with branches and leaves. His exceptional learning ability soon allows him to coordinate his limbs, build tools, and survive in the wilderness 517.

Pioneer of Cultivation

Lin Fei pioneers cultivation through experimentation rather than inherited instruction. Several early systems prove flawed, forcing him to cripple his cultivation and begin again. He also creates the cultivation world’s talisman civilization. His understanding allows him to violate restrictions that other cultivators regard as fundamental laws of talisman-making 10.
