In Nan City, he confronted the Red Dust Pavilion’s Jinghua after she demanded he cripple himself, and he slapped her before she could attack Qin Yi, leaving her unable to sense her true qi.

• Wu Yi told Chen Zheng that the Jiuli Holy Maiden had brought Ji Shanhe and a mysterious cauldron to the Miao Frontier thirty years earlier, then left China with them.

• Chen Zheng entered the main laboratory, flew up to the Tyrannosaurus rex fossil, and said it was time for it to wake.
• Chen Zheng produced a powerful drop of blood, which attached to and vanished into the spherical fossil on the dinosaur’s spine.
• Chen Zheng commanded the fossil to awaken, and the sphere glowed and pulsed as flesh, organs, skin, and keratin rapidly formed over the skeleton.
• Brain detected new signs of life as the Tyrannosaurus rex opened its eyes and stared at the people in the laboratory.

Chen Zheng reunited with Little Bone, a resurrected Tyrannosaurus rex, and escaped the Downs Group as she destroyed its forces. The chapter ended with Little Bone’s golden flames bearing down on Miles’s floor.

• Little Bone recognized Chen Zheng, cried, and lowered her head to his feet before speaking to him in a female voice.
