He confronted the Epoch Emperor Palace as it attempted to return to the Great Void, but a giant face diverted it to a demonic Great Thousand World, where he took the Epoch Compass.

• Chen Zheng killed the Thunder Dao Palace's ancestor and destroyed the palace after the ancestor attacked him.
• Chen Zheng reached a world plagued by vicious creatures, killed Emperor Mohuang, Emperor Yangao, and Emperor Cangxuan, and claimed the Heavenly Boat of Fate.
• Emperor Qingye took the Heavenly Boat of Fate with help from Fate, but Chen Zheng dragged him back and survived the boat’s trial as it destroyed Emperor Qingye.
• Chen Zheng entered the Linglong Immortal Hall, defeated Wan Qi and Zu Kunlun, and met Immortal Venerable Linglong, who gave him the thirteenth Realm Map of the Great Void.
• Chen Zheng and Long Jingyao reached the Epoch Emperor Palace, where Di Ji revealed that she had become a Dao Ancestor and that An Jing would perish unless she surpassed her previous life.

Chen Zheng traversed the Great Abyss, revealed the Gate of Creation, and confronted the Emperors of Light and Darkness before setting out for the Amethyst Saint Clan’s ancestral land. He reached its trials with Feiya and Long Jingyao, then shattered Reincarnation Cliff with his past-life vision.

• Chen Zheng reached the Great Abyss, where Little Tuntun devoured Di Ji and the other Heavenly Emperors, and he later destroyed the fiends who attacked him before the Demon God of Gold recognized him as Ancestor Chen.
• Chen Zheng entered the Land of the Primordial Ancestor, placed Moli, the Demon God of Gold, and Liya on its thrones, and revealed thirteen Origin Demon Pillars before the corrupted Old Demoness appeared and was annihilated.
• Chen Zheng opened the Gate of Creation and entered a dead universe with Feiya, where the Emperor of Light explained his failed bid for Transcendence and the Emperor of Darkness attacked Chen Zheng before losing his power.
• Chen Zheng returned with Feiya, gave Moluo and Husky thrones, and showed Bai Mei the Heavenly Crystal Sacred Seed before leaving to seek the Amethyst Saint Clan’s ancestral land.

Chen Zheng rescued Tianjiao, revived Bai Mu’er, and gathered treasures while exposing hidden plots across the Amethyst Saint Clan and Yellow Springs Sect. After saving Lü Changhe at the Lishang Great Tomb, he opened a sacred stone box and the Divine Oracle Gate summoned the Heaven-Sweeping Lord of Sorrow.

• Reincarnation Cliff collapsed, and Chen Zheng learned that the figure glimpsed within might have been his first incarnation before Tianjiao arrived and called him her godfather.
• Chen Zheng gave the Jeweled Necklace Fruit to Zi Tiandu, awakened Tianjiao’s nothingness physique, and helped the Amethyst Saint Clan defeat the Unhindered Slaughter Dao’s attack.
• Chen Zheng claimed the World-Destroying Sword and Withered Life Ship, revived Bai Mu’er with the Heavenly Crystal Sacred Seed, and learned that the Amethyst Saint Clan’s Reincarnation Cliff was part of the Tribulation Lord Prison.

After Zhengyue absorbed his blood and the little purple beast swallowed the Heavenly Blood, a child revealed that Gongsun Chou's master Yaotiao was the Fourth Tribulation Lord beneath the World Tree.

• Lishang emerged from the Lishang Great Tomb, knelt before Chen Zheng, and revealed that his master Zero had said Chen Zheng could free him from his shackles.
• Chen Zheng freed Lishang and later killed You Beihai and Hong Feng, then returned with Qi Ruyi and Yuan Shan to the Yellow Springs Sect.
