Background / History

Liang Tian belongs to the Liang family, whose business operations are primarily overseas. Su Cimu spent part of his childhood abroad with Liang Tian’s father, Liang Jia, while recovering from poor health. The cousins remained close as they grew up 15 25 33.

While attending University A, Liang Tian lives in an apartment near campus bought by his father. He and Su Cimu regularly visit each other’s apartments, sometimes staying overnight after late gaming sessions and going to university together the following morning 33.

Following Liang Xi’s involvement with Su Cimu’s former fiancé, Shen Kezhou, Liang Jia announces plans to move his overseas businesses back to the country so he can personally supervise both Liang Tian and Liang Xi 14.

Personality

Liang Tian is affectionate and playful with Su Cimu, greeting him with hugs and joining in teasing exchanges and mock interrogations. Although he objects to the nickname “Xiao Tiantian” and insists that Su Cimu respect him as an older cousin, he readily helps him and indulges their familiar banter 6 33 37.

He is protective of Su Cimu but easily intimidated by Shen Yannian. He defends his cousin during an uncomfortable meal with Shen, yet becomes visibly nervous when Shen blames him for their outings. His concern also extends to Su Cimu’s feelings: he warns that becoming emotionally attached to Shen could leave Su Cimu hurt 8 25 33 34.

Despite his academic ability, Liang Tian is inexperienced in romance. He initially wants to reserve his first relationship for someone he loves, but is swayed by Fang Youwei’s earnest promises. • After Su Cimu wins, Liang Tian recognizes the other driver as Shen Yannian and loudly announces that Su Cimu’s “husband” has come to take him home, embarrassing his cousin before the crowd 7.
• He introduces himself to Shen as Su Cimu’s older cousin, deliberately preventing a misunderstanding about their closeness, then invites both men to his and Su Cimu’s longtime late-night hangout 7.
• During the meal, he tries to ease an argument about the engagement. After drinking too much, he is taken to Huaishan Manor with Su Cimu and settled in with Butler Shen’s help 8.

Confrontation with Liang Xi

Meeting Fang Youwei

• At the Night Bar, Liang Tian encourages Su Cimu to dance. The outing ends in a confrontation with two harassers, followed by Shen Yannian’s intervention and reprimand 23 24 25.
• Fang Youwei brings Liang Tian upstairs with the others and takes an interest in him. Su Cimu warns Fang not to toy with Liang Tian’s feelings, explaining that his cousin has never dated anyone 25.
