History
Origin and Birth
Nairmis begins as a transmigrated consciousness trapped in lightless, soundless chaos for hundreds of millions of years. Unable to act, he witnesses the emergence of the world and its primordial gods. The emotions released by the devastated earth’s inhabitants eventually converge within him, bringing him to tears and allowing him to proclaim himself Lord of Emotions 1.
His birth immediately attracts Uranus’s killing intent. Nyx intervenes because his existence has disturbed the River of Fate, creating a variable that might offer her imprisoned fate aspect a chance at freedom. After Uranus withdraws, Nairmis recovers fragments of his previous-life memories, including knowledge of Greek mythology’s future events 2 3.
Inventions and First Followers
Determined to soothe the grieving world, Nairmis seeks materials for a lyre. A pool nymph supplies stones, enabling him to make a knife and carve the instrument. His previous-life hobby of collecting musical instruments helps him reconstruct its design 4 5.
His music calms creatures unable to sleep and helps the dead depart peacefully. Hypnos personally thanks him for restoring the conditions needed for sleep and promises to answer his call at night 6 7.
Nairmis accepts five nymphs as followers, names them, and promises that they can become subordinate gods. Their work expands from basic tools to parchment, pottery, weaving, and cooking. When an invisible force prevents him from writing characters from his former life, he realizes that those characters do not fit the new world’s laws of language and turns to painting as a means of recording history 10 11 14 15 17.
Prophecy and Dealings with the Titans
Messages received through his record authority lead Nairmis to conclude that his future self is guiding him. Following one message, he paints Uranus’s defeat and the Titans’ rebellion; Nyx senses fate settling around those scenes. He later completes Uranus’s eyes in one painting at a carefully chosen moment during the God King’s confrontation with Gaia and the Titans 10 19 21.
After hearing Nairmis’s proclamations of wisdom and prophecy, Cronus seeks his help. Nairmis negotiates for Cronus’s Vitality Godhead, then advises him to return voluntarily to Uranus and ask forgiveness. He promises eventual deliverance and kingship, but the godhead is not due to transfer until he frees Cronus 23 24 25.
When Uranus questions him, Hemera claims that she and Nairmis are lovers and future partners. Nairmis does not contradict her, recognizing the protection offered by her connection to Nyx and Erebus. He survives Uranus’s demand for a prophecy by answering that no god can defy him for as long as he remains God King 27.
Proeon’s Growing Community
Nairmis’s reputation attracts spirits born from Titan blood, including tree people, stone people, and flower people rejected for their appearances. He welcomes them, establishes inner beauty as a divine concept, and makes Proeon their home 31.
He fulfills his promise to the original five nymphs by granting them subordinate divinities, then assigns them to lead the spirits in constructing a palace. Uranus begins summoning him to the Sky Divine Domain every morning to play the lyre, turning an initially frightening encounter into a regular obligation 32 34 36.
While recording the confrontation between Uranus and Erebus and the emergence of the Three Fates, Nairmis meets Metis. He offers a prophecy concerning Oceanus and Tethys in exchange for the Sea Faction’s future assistance 37 38 39 40.
Firestorm and Opposition to Uranus
After seeing a vision of Proeon destroyed and its inhabitants dead, Nairmis vows to protect them. His declaration causes severed threads of fate to reconnect. Uranus subsequently strips him of his flame divine nature and throws his unconscious body from the sky; Hemera catches him and returns him to Proeon 42 44.
A meeting with his future self in the river of time restores Nairmis to consciousness. Anticipating danger, he sends the spirits to shelter in a cave before Uranus unleashes a rain of fire. The stolen flame divine nature still recognizes its original master, allowing Nairmis to reclaim it and extinguish the catastrophe 45 46.
Although he survives Uranus’s renewed hostility through carefully worded professions of loyalty, the destruction ends his willingness to wait passively for history to unfold. He accepts Gaia’s invitation to cooperate against Uranus and takes the Bottle of Life to heal the scorched earth. His limited divine power, however, allows the artifact to produce only a thin mist rather than Gaia’s abundant restorative breath 47 48 50.
Personality
Nairmis is compassionate toward vulnerable beings without treating weakness as a reason for contempt. He responds to the world’s sorrow even though his divine duties do not compel him to intervene, accepts unprotected nymphs, and welcomes spirits rejected for their appearance. After surviving Uranus’s killing intent, his first concern is healing his injured followers rather than examining his own new power 3 11 19 31.
His kindness coexists with pragmatism. He understands that granting divinities rewards loyalty, creates capable administrators, and gives other followers a reason to work toward a future with him. He also negotiates tangible compensation from Cronus and political support from Metis rather than relying on gratitude alone 24 32 40.
Privately anxious and frequently self-deprecating, Nairmis uses etiquette, flattery, and carefully limited truths to survive stronger gods. His apparent courage before Uranus initially begins as an act intended to reduce his punishment. After Proeon burns, however, protecting his community becomes a reason to take an active role against the God King 16 26 47 48.

- Creation-related divinities grow through making, using, and spreading their associated crafts 9.

- Initially avoids deliberately developing fate authority because he fears appearing to challenge Nyx’s domain 33.
Flame Authority
- Reclaims his stolen flame divine nature because it remembers him as the one who brought it into the world 46.
- Gains Second-Class authority over flame and declares that new flames require his consent 46.
- Extinguishes the fires spread across the earth and later preserves divine flame in torches recovered from Proeon’s ruins 46 49.
