Background
The Ye Lineage is a supreme imperial clan whose ancestors include several Emperor Realm patriarchs and figures who attained the rank of Heavenly Emperor. Its legacy originated in the Immortal Domain and has survived countless epochs 1.
One of its historical emperors, Ye Taichu, awakened the Primordial Physique at birth, attracting the Primordial Saint Dragon Clan from the Immortal Domain to protect him. He became invincible in his era and ultimately ascended to the Immortal Domain 2.
The lineage’s ancestors also held the top three places on the Eternal Physical Body Ranking under the titles Heaven, Stillness, and Dust. Their personal information was obscured by heavenly mysteries; Ye Wushuang later surpassed all three before transcending the ranking entirely 8.
A hundred years before Ye Wushuang’s birth, Ye Lingxiao and Ji Luoshen’s marriage established a major alliance between the Ye and Ji clans. Ye Lingxiao subsequently went to the border to resist the Desolate Realm’s invasion, becoming a deterrent against further incursions and slaying the Desolate Heaven Devil Emperor before entering the Emperor Realm 1.

Culture and Principles
The lineage combines internal solidarity with deliberate competition. Disciples praise strong performances and laugh at poor results without contempt; the narration explicitly contrasts this atmosphere with scheming against fellow clansmen 5.
Respect for its appointments does not eliminate rivalry. The ancestors encourage the Thrones of Order to judge Ye Wushuang through direct contact, withholding details of his talent so that he must earn their wholehearted support through his own ability 6 10 12.
- Open displays of strength: The Ninth Ancestor states that hiding its abilities has never been the lineage’s style 8.
- Protection against senior interference: Powerful elders are assigned to prevent outsiders from using superior age and cultivation to bully its younger members 41.
- Responsibility toward living beings: Ye Lingxiao serves at the border, while Ye Wushuang invokes the obligations of Emperor Clans when rallying the secret-realm survivors against the Netherdark Dragon Venerable 1 34.
- Refusal to yield under threat: Ye Jinghong declares that the Immortal Ancient Ye Clan would rather break than bend, and Ye Wushuang rejects the Qilin Cave’s threat of war 14 34.
Strength and Resources
Imperial Legacy and Training
- Multiple disciplines: The ancestors teach sword, saber, spear, formation, zither, and alchemy arts. Ye Wushuang studies their signature techniques rather than specializing in only one path 2 48.
- Primordial Emperor inheritance: Ye Lingxiao’s receipt of this inheritance draws a Primordial Sacred Dragon from the Immortal Domain, which acknowledges him as master 2.
- Extensive scripture collection: The lineage maintains a repository of cultivation techniques, including body-tempering scriptures 4.
- Exceptional rewards: Ye Wushuang receives five complementary supreme elemental treasures after breaking the eternal limit—an unprecedented simultaneous bestowal even within the Ye Clan 9.
- Elder combat strength: The Grand Elder suppresses and kills several opposing faction leaders alone after the Heavenly Sword Secret Realm expedition 40.

Major Story Arcs
Selection of a Divine Son
Ye Wushuang’s Supreme Bone and Chaos Physique prompt the ancestors to raise him personally. After he forms three divine meridians and reaches the Divine Aperture Realm at three years old, the First Ancestor chooses him as Divine Son, restoring a position that had long remained dormant 1 2 3 4.
At eighteen, his strength test produces ten million jin of force and breaks the Heavenly Dao’s eternal limit. His subsequent transcendence of the Eternal Physical Body Ranking prompts other powers to consider marriage alliances, seek the lineage’s support, or prepare to oppose him 4 6 8.
Heavenly Sword Secret Realm
The expedition establishes the younger generation’s standing against rival factions. Ye Jinghong openly supports Ye Wushuang, while Ye Wushuang defeats the Ancient Qilin Cave’s formation and kills Lin Zhan despite threats of war 13 14.
Inside the realm, Ye Jinghong discovers a Sword Dao pursuing ultimate speed, Ye Kongling and Ye Yanling win the Water and Fire Holy Swords, and Ye Wushuang forms his Unrivaled Sword Dao. The Ye disciples later join the stand against the resurrected Netherdark Dragon Venerable 20 21 27 34.
Ye Wushuang emerges with the All Under Heaven Sword after fighting alongside Ye Muxi to kill the Dragon Venerable. When hostile elders attempt to contest the spoils, the Grand Elder kills them and escorts the expedition home 39 40.
Heavenly Star Succession Struggle
The Ninth Ancestor sends covert-division experts to protect Ye Wushuang during his visit to the Heavenly Star Imperial Dynasty. There, Ye Wanwan uses her strength and commercial influence to defend him from an imperial elder 41 43.
Ye Wushuang and Ye Wanwan then exploit the princes’ rivalry. They create the appearance of support for the Fifth Prince while Xie Qianli enters the Sixth Prince’s circle, intending to draw the other princes into pressuring both factions. Ye Wanwan explicitly states that they never promised the Fifth Prince their support 47 48.
