The operation had been well planned, but an accident had still occurred.
Sean truly hadn't expected Quirrell, that two-faced monster, to only appear to leave after encountering the Centaur. In reality, he had remained hidden nearby, watching. Sean's actions had happened to fall right under his gaze, placing him in danger. If Quirrell and Voldemort's fear of Dumbledore had not been ingrained in their bones, he might really have had to rely on the once-every-seven-days Reverse Death Magic effect of the Pure White Pocket Watch.
As mentioned before, the effects of Reverse Death Magic were a crucial part of Sean's later plans. They determined whether he could claim the heads of Quirrell, or even Voldemort's remnant soul!
Next, Sean needed to find a suitable opportunity to curse Tarkoon.
As he thought, Sean lay on his bed and gradually drifted off to sleep. What he failed to notice was that the corners of Kulkan's mouth were stained with a silvery-white liquid, which was drawn into its mouth by its continuously flicking tongue and vanished completely.
Early the next morning, news of the fire in the Forbidden Forest spread throughout Hogwarts.
In the Magical World, a disaster like a fire was nothing much as long as it was discovered in time. Everyone knew magic; they could simply use it to create water, or even ice. Dealing with a fire that had not fully spread was hardly difficult. Thus, the incident merely became a temporary topic of conversation among Hogwarts' young wizards and caused no panic.
