Written exams had always been somewhat boring. Aside from one Hufflepuff being caught using a Self-Writing Quill, there were no other incidents.
Among the written exams for the seven core subjects, Potions and Transfiguration were the most difficult, followed by Charms and Herbology. The remaining exams were basically quite simple. They were not quite to the point of simply reciting from the textbooks, but most answers could be found in them. For someone like Sean, who had practically memorized the textbooks, they were hardly difficult at all.
Blaise, on the other hand, was doing passably in the other subjects and was confident he could pass them. But he truly had little confidence in the Potions and Transfiguration exams. From the end of the written exams until the practical exams began, he had been sighing constantly.
"Blaise, stop sighing. Part of the final grade comes from the practical exam. If you can score high enough in the practical, you can make up for your weak written exam scores. Passing shouldn't be much of a problem."
Hearing Sean's words, Blaise immediately perked up and said confidently, "If it's a practical exam, then I'm not worried at all. I really am not great at written exams, but I'm absolutely confident in practical work."
"Alright, we're about to go in for the exam. The first one is Professor Flitwick's Charms exam. He's easy to talk to. If things don't go well during the exam, say a few nice words and ask to take it again."
