Sean began his second year at Hogwarts, sharpened his magic, and helped Andy recover from a scheme by Dorian and Robbins. After defeating Dorian and serving Snape’s punishment, Sean turned his attention to his Halloween plan.

• Sean returned to Hogwarts, met Kulkan in his room, and began classes while Ginny Weasley entered Gryffindor and Luna Lovegood entered Ravenclaw.
• Sean impressed Professor McGonagall with his Transfiguration, joined the Firwood Club, and advised Harry to set boundaries with Lockhart and Colin Creevey.
• Sean fought Lockhart in class, extracted abilities from him, and later discovered his talent for flying after drawing power from Cornish Pixies.
• Sean began watching Ginny and suspected the Diary was controlling her, while Kulkan reacted to something Sean believed might be the Basilisk.
• Sean learned that Andy’s childhood friend and Dorian had left him responsible for a missing potion order, then brewed the potions with Blaise after borrowing ingredients from Snape.
• Sean found Snape’s old Potions textbook signed by the Half-Blood Prince and secretly kept it while he and Blaise brewed through the night.
• Sean rescued Andy from angry customers, revealed the finished potions, then followed Robbins to the Quidditch Pitch and fought Dorian until Dorian was knocked unconscious.
• Sean accepted Snape’s points deduction and detention, watched Andy gain ground against Dorian, and realized Halloween was the time to begin his Deathday Party plan.

Sean manipulated the Diary, Millicent, and Barrett while the Chamber attacks stirred suspicion around Harry. After gaining Parseltongue, Sean learned Kulkan could sense the Basilisk and fled as it pursued him through the walls.

• Sean took the Diary from Ginny and began questioning its soul fragment, which identified itself as Voldemort and offered him power.
• Sean uncovered Barrett Cotton’s plot against the Slytherin Brotherhood and the students he had targeted, then used a Voldemort disguise to pressure Barrett into carrying out a purge.
• Sean and Mallow lured Barrett and his followers into the woods, where Sean defeated Barrett in a duel and bound him to a magical contract.
• Millicent began confiding in the Diary, and a Basilisk attack petrified Luna after she saw the creature in an armor’s reflection.
• At Lockhart’s Dueling Club, Sean defeated Lockhart and Harry, gaining Parseltongue and learning that Harry could speak the language too.
• After Harry was accused of being Slytherin’s heir, Sean helped the Slytherins reject the accusation and search for the real heir.
• Kulkan explained how Unicorn blood had awakened her inheritance and asked to join Sean in hunting the Basilisk.
• Kulkan sensed the Basilisk as she and Sean left the Room of Requirement, and Sean ran while it pursued him through the walls.

Sean helped defeat Tom Riddle and the Basilisk, then faced hostility from the Slytherin Brotherhood while his improved Mind Recovery Potion drew attention. The school year ended with Sean learning of a new sibling and preparing to entrust Andy with the potion business.

• Sean escaped the Basilisk’s attack, but its gaze petrified Hermione, Ron, and Nearly Headless Nick, and Ginny confessed to Dumbledore that she had opened the Chamber of Secrets under the Diary’s influence.
• Sean captured Lockhart in the Room of Requirement and learned Memory Charm LV5MAX, while Harry and Sean followed Millicent into the Chamber of Secrets.
• Tom Riddle summoned the Basilisk, but Sean and Harry used Mandrakes and recordings of rooster crows to weaken it, and Sean killed it with the Sword of Gryffindor.
• Sean defeated Tom, poisoned the Diary with Basilisk venom, and saved Millicent before collapsing, and he later learned the Bulstrode family had received a Romanian Dragon Farm as compensation.
• After recovering, Sean rejected the Slytherin Brotherhood’s attempt to expel him from the house and fought members who tried to bully him, while he continued writing his Mind Recovery Potion thesis.
• Snape approved Sean’s paper for submission to The Golden Cauldron, and Gavin challenged interference in its publication through the Wizengamot Academic Committee.
• Sean earned all O grades except an E in Defense Against the Dark Arts, while Hermione agreed to compete fairly with Katherine Bishop next year.

Sean negotiated with the Bulstrodes, took charge of the Training District, and developed a cheaper Wolfsbane Potion. Back at Hogwarts, he obtained a Time-Turner, began pursuing Spiritual Vision and Prophecy, and resumed research while Sirius Black’s escape and new teachers shaped the school year.

• Sean reunited with his family, learned from Gavin that his visions came from the Bulstrode Spiritual Vision talent, and visited the Bulstrode estate to negotiate a forty-five percent share of the New Mind Recovery Potion profits.
• At Bulstrode Manor, Sean intervened when guards blocked an injured child from the family hospital, then confronted Borel and Doris and fought Borel until Gavin stopped their duel.
• Gavin gave Sean control of the Training District, and Sean organized his forces while starting research on a cheaper Wolfsbane Potion.
• Sean successfully brewed an experimental Wolfsbane Potion using a substitute ingredient, then refined his research with advice from Snape.
• On the Hogwarts Express, Sean encountered a Dementor searching for Sirius Black and returned to Hogwarts as students learned that Lupin would teach Defense Against the Dark Arts.
• Sean signed up for all five electives and received a Time-Turner from Snape, using it to attend multiple classes and continue his Wolfsbane research.
