Apart from a few hermit crabs the size of fingernails, there was no seafood to be found on the beach!
Lu Zhe picked one up and examined it. These things were fine when they were bigger, but one this small was mostly shell with hardly any meat. The calories it provided wouldn't even cover digesting it!
He wanted to find a sharp stone or an oyster shell to grind into a cutting tool, but even after searching for ages, he couldn't find a suitable stone!
Sure enough, real survival was nowhere near as easy as those so-called survival experts on Douyin and Kuaishou made it look!
But in the end, he did discover one useful supply!
A large piece of kelp drifting in on the waves!
It was rich in vitamins and carbohydrates and could be eaten, but because this piece of kelp was too tough, eating it as it was might burden his stomach!
Still, having something was better than nothing!
