Bibi Dong led Spirit Hall's hunts for powerful Soul Beasts, while Gui Yuan gained a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone and overcame the restraint of the Two Extremes Stillness Domain. A later expedition defeated the Snow Empress and Ice Empress, secured Gui Yuan's sixth Soul Ring, and left him absorbing a new skull bone after revealing his copying abilities.
Gui Yuan gained the Evil God’s inheritance, tested his copied powers, and left Spirit Hall to seek the Blue Silver Emperor Soul Bone and strengthen himself through travel. He took the bone for Tang Hao, sparred with Dugu Bo, and left for Dugu Bo’s residence as Qian Renxue prepared to investigate the Star Luo Empire.
