Background

Wei Wufu was raised by the Sky City Wei Family, whose members and allies have guarded Sky City's underground space across generations. The family's creed—“a thousand people, one city; a hundred years, one guard”—shaped his sense of duty and willingness to fight for others. 157

He became associated with Lin Shen early in the story. Although he initially doubted Lin Shen's capabilities against a mutated Alloy creature, he followed Lin Shen's instructions and fought beside him. 33 36 He later chose to remain with Lin Shen despite Di E Si's invitation to study at the Celestial Master Academy, stating simply that he followed Lin Shen. 613

Personality

Wei Wufu is terse, stoic, and direct. He rarely embellishes his words, offers blunt assessments, and expresses praise or criticism with equal simplicity; after calling Lin Shen stronger than Ouyang Yudu, he immediately added that Lin Shen was “thick-skinned.” 166

His conduct is defined by duty, endurance, and an unusually firm moral conviction. He repeatedly puts himself at risk to protect allies, whether holding the line for hours at Sky Star Slope, restraining Ouyang Yudu during a manic episode, or advancing against the Life-Saving Heavenly Venerate to save Lin Shen. 168 176 1243
