After gaining a third Soul Ring and an External Soul Bone in the Star Dou Great Forest, he fled the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and left the cub in its care.
Xu Zhengyang entered the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy, where his combat strength and unusual approach to soul engineering set him apart. After defeating his entire class, he pushed the academy toward physical conditioning and practical combat training, while his classmates began to take those skills seriously.
