Lin Mo hatched Charmander, revealed its strength at Nuoding Academy, and earned a first Soul Ring in the Soul Hunting Forest. He returned as a level-twelve One-Ring Soul Master, while his heart Body Martial Soul’s evolution requirements remained unknown.
Lin Mo left Nuoding Academy, enrolled at Heaven Dou Intermediate Soul Master Academy, and began apprenticing at the Ye Family Medical Hall while developing his cultivation and studying medicine. The stretch ended with Charmander trapping Xiao Lin in a Fire Spin during their spar, as Lin Mo prepared to stop the fight.
Lin Mo gained a Scarlet Blood Lesser Dragon Soul Ring, advanced rapidly, and joined Qin Ming’s class with Ye Lingling. The arc ended with Lin Mo recognizing Dugu Yan’s Jade Phosphorous Serpent Poison after Ye Lingling’s healing failed.
Lin Mo helped Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan control their poison with treasures from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, while his own Martial Souls and Charmeleon grew stronger. After helping Ye Lingling obtain a Soul Ring, Lin Mo began cultivating at the well, and he also completed his twenty-first arena victory before leaving with his companions.
Lin Mo gained his fourth Soul Ring, advanced to the level-fifty bottleneck, and evolved Charmeleon into Charizard before joining Qin Ming’s students on a Star Dou Great Forest expedition. After clashing with Shrek Academy’s students, the group entered the forest, where Er Ming’s roar disrupted the hunt and Charizard sensed a promising Fire-type Soul Beast.
Lin Mo became a Soul King with Charizard’s fifth Soul Ring, then drew the attention of Heaven Dou’s court and Spirit Hall while negotiating his place between them. After leaving Spirit City with Dugu Bo, he sought a rare ginseng and reached Bai Family Village, where Bai He agreed to sell it.
Lin Mo transformed his Bloodline Power, developed the Soul Core Method, and became entangled in the conflict between Shrek Academy and Dugu Bo over Tang San. He then led Charizard through the Four Elements Academy exchange, where it defeated the visiting challengers and impressed Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er.
Lin Mo helped Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling advance before gaining the Scarlet Phoenix Wings and strengthening Charizard with the Scarlet Radiance Golden Phoenix’s Soul Ring. He stole Ah Yin’s Soul Bone, gave it to Ye Lingling, and replanted Ah Yin at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where she grew stronger from his blood.
Lin Mo guided Heaven Dou Royal Academy through the qualifiers, killed Shi Nian, and traveled to Spirit City intending to win the tournament’s Soul Bones. As the finals began, Tang San revealed his Clear Sky Hammer and became Spirit Hall’s target, while Skywater Academy’s forfeit sent Lin Mo’s team into the fourth round.
Lin Mo led Heaven Dou Royal Academy to victory, claimed and traded Soul Bones, and helped Zhu Zhuqing escape the Star Luo Empire’s pursuit. The group left for the Blue Silver Forest so Ye Linyuan could seek a Ninth Soul Ring from the Blue Silver King.
Lin Mo helped Ye Linyuan become a Titled Douluo, strengthened Charizard, and entered Slaughter City to cultivate his blood Qi and seek the Divine Slaughter's Domain. After building his reputation as Blood Asura, he set conditions for joining Hu Liena on Hell Road.
Lin Mo and Hu Liena cleared Hell Road and gained Divine Slaughter's Domain, while Tang San began building strength in Slaughter City. Back at Dugu Manor, Lin Mo forged a Bloodline Soul Core, made the Scarlet Blood Heart a hundred-thousand-year Soul Bone, and led his companions to kill a Golden Hawksbill Turtle for Charizard’s seventh Soul Ring.
Lin Mo absorbed a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring, gained imperial status, and helped Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling grow stronger as Spirit Hall attacked two great clans. With the survivors displaced and a new ranking of the Seven Great Sects announced, Lin Mo began assembling a sect of his own and offered the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud to Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling.
Lin Mo formed the Body Sect by recruiting the Four Elements academies and the Breaking Clan, then strengthened his body Martial Soul and gathered companions for a journey to Sea God Island. After facing Wolf Bandits and gaining a pirate crew’s ship, the group reached the island’s waters and approached it under cover of night.
Lin Mo and his companions reached Sea God Island, received powerful Sea God trials, and grew stronger through training and successive tests. After completing the Tidal Body Tempering trial, they prepared for the Battle of Whale and Shark as Tang San left Slaughter City for Shrek Academy.
Lin Mo and his companions completed their Sea God trials, Dugu Yan claimed the Sea God Trident, and the group returned to the mainland. After Lin Mo killed Ma Hongjun and strengthened the Body Sect, Ye Lingling received her title in Spirit City, where Qian Daoliu offered Lin Mo secret information about the God of Angels.
Lin Mo pursued the Asura inheritance while helping Qian Renxue and Zhu Zhuqing take control of the Star Luo Empire and punish Tang San’s allies. The arc left Lin Mo hailed by the crowd as the God of Light and Fire as Qian Renxue began the public judgment of the captured leaders.
Lin Mo secured the Snow Empress’s Soul Ring and Soul Bone, rebuilt her body, and helped Shui Bing’er gain power while making plans to seize the Ice God’s faith. Back in the Angel Empire, he distributed the Far North’s Soul Bones to his allies as the God Realm noticed his growing influence and he worried about Bibi Dong’s intentions.
Lin Mo rescued Xiao Wu’s family, defeated Bibi Dong, and strengthened his power through new Soul Rings and alliances with Soul Beasts. After reaching the Divine Realm and learning how to aid Qian Renxue, he prepared to begin her trials and revealed that Bibi Dong was her mother.
Lin Mo resolved the affairs of his world, became a god, and crossed into another Douluo era, where he took Huo Yuhao as his disciple and began undoing Tang San’s arrangements. As the Snow Empress strengthened Huo Yuhao and confronted her counterpart, Lin Mo absorbed the younger Snow Empress’s origin and created a Two-Star Snow Empress.
