Background

A bottle of Catgirl Facial Cleanser existed in Luo Li’s previous world. Given to him by his roommate as a birthday present, it actually transformed him into a catgirl when used. Luo Li subsequently died of exhaustion after his roommate chased him for eight streets, then transmigrated to the Douluo Continent 1.

Six years later, the cleanser appeared as his Martial Soul. Su Yuntao dismissed it as a largely useless face-washing product despite Luo Li’s innate full Soul Power. Yu Xiaogang later made a similar judgment, incorrectly insisting that Luo Li must possess a second Martial Soul to explain his talent 1 12.

Tang Hao recognized its extraordinary nature because it had transformed her despite the enormous power difference between herself and the newly awakened Luo Li. After consulting books, she developed the term evolution-type Martial Soul to describe its potential to cleanse impurities and improve other Martial Souls 7 13 14.
