"Yes, a miracle." Lorenzo tipped his head back and gazed at the last trace of twilight on the horizon. "And so cheap, too—seeing so many Rebirth Mushrooms right in front of us makes our own costly methods of resurrection seem rather lacking."

Alama said, "You can't put it that way either. After those Mushroom Transformers were reborn, they didn't inherit their levels or strength from before death."

The two then discussed the alliance. Although it was now certain there would be no real opposition among the people, before formally forming an alliance, they still ought to send someone to the Fungal Fortress to see it in person.

"Are you sure you want to go yourself?" Lorenzo frowned. "That means passing through a dungeon rift. For something like this, my son can go in your place."

Alama shook his head. "I still want to see with my own eyes what kind of life Inanna is living.

"You don't need to worry about defense. Now that the Hero has returned, I've also discussed it with Elwin. I'll have him temporarily look after those Node cities on the New Defense Line for me."

Seeing that Alama's attitude was firm, Lorenzo could only let him be.
