Lin Xi built his influence at Shrek while training Huo Yutong and guiding their team through the freshman assessment. After Electrolux awakened and revealed that the world might be a Singularity, Lin Xi renewed his promise to protect Huo Yutong, and her team advanced with another victory.
Lin Xi secured an alliance with the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, helped Huo Yutong defeat Dai Huabin, and summoned Morgan during the holiday. Huo Yutong gained new power and began pursuing Lin Xi, while Wang Dong'er chose not to support her father and Morgan prepared to awaken Lin Xi's and Huo Yutong's Magical Energy Circuits.
Lin Xi exposed Dai Huabin’s assassination attempt and forced Shrek Academy to punish him and demand an apology from the White Tiger Duke. As the fallout spread, Tang San’s agents approached Shrek, while the students began a new group assessment.
Lin Xi and his companions traveled from Shrek toward Star Luo City after the advancement assessment, while Lin Xi’s strength unsettled his teammates and drew attention from old acquaintances. The stretch left Lin Xi confronting Dai Hao at Huo Yun'er's grave.
Lin Xi negotiated cooperation with the Body Sect, then helped clear out hidden enemies in Star Luo City. As the tournament began, he secured the Ice Jade Scorpion Left Arm Bone from Emperor Xu Jiawei, while Wang Dong'er confronted the woman she called Tang Wutong.
Lin Xi accompanied Du Busi and others to Sunset Forest, where he found Youyou at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and obtained Tang San’s Medicine Classic and Poison Classic. The story then shifted among other characters and conflicts, including Mu En seeking help for Xuan Zi and Tang Ya.
Lin Xi brought Huo Yutong to the Body Sect, where his situation changed how the sect viewed him, and later negotiated with the Snow Empress. The Snow Empress agreed to become his Soul Spirit, while other conflicts continued across the story.
Lin Xi prepared an experiment in the Far North, where Niu Tian confronted him and Electrolux intervened. Elsewhere, Huo Yutong’s body was occupied by an unknown being, and the chapters ended amid attacks and upheavals across several cities.
Lin Xi reunited with Huo Yutong, struggled with her confession, and brought his Servants to the Far North Ice Plains. After confronting the Third Elder and the damage to the Sea Soul Beasts’ habitat, Lin Xi sought the Sea Princess’s advice about Huo Yutong’s chance of becoming a god, then spent time with her at an amusement park.
Lin Xi entered Huo Yutong’s Sea of Consciousness and helped her confront the memories tied to Dai Yutong. After inheriting the God of Destruction’s position, Dai Yutong became Huo Yutong’s ninth Soul Skill and strongest Heroic Spirit, while Shrek Academy was left in crisis.
Lin Xi defeated Tang San and challenged the Divine Realm’s response while the Douluo Federation was founded. The arc left Gu Yuena entering the place where she sensed the Golden Dragon King, as a terrifying dragon’s roar alarmed the gods.
