Their first mission took them to Mount Taishi, where Chen Qingyu’s group came under attack as the main battle turned against the alliance.

• Chen Qingyu traveled to the Land of the Ruins of Return, found a Great Dao Crystal in the Remnant Dao Chaos, and absorbed it as a Crystal of Wanjie.
• Danyang Ju refined the Heart of Myriad Realms for Chen Qingyu, who reached the Third Divine Realm and learned that a Final Calamity was approaching.

Chen Qingyu’s growing power drew Emperor Huan’s attention, and Great Emperor Wanxing rescued him after a trap at the Great Tomb of a Thousand Autumns. As the Earthly Branch Alliance launched a massive assault, Chen Qingyu became its target and was trapped in a three-on-one attack.

• Chen Qingyu killed the besiegers at the fortress and joined the battle at Mount Taishi, helping force the Earthly Branch Alliance to retreat.
• Great Emperor Blazing Sun and the Hemp-Robed Ancestor recommended Chen Qingyu for the Heavenly Stems Council, while Great Emperor Tianchen secretly told Emperor Huan about his powers.
• Chen Qingyu advanced to Middle Emperor Venerable, but the Hemp-Robed Ancestor betrayed the alliance at the Great Tomb of a Thousand Autumns, where Emperor Huan killed Great Emperor Blazing Sun and attacked Chen Qingyu.

Chen Qingyu turned the Heavenly Stem Alliance’s defeat of the Earthly Branch Alliance into a race for the boon, then awoke as Heavenly Emperor Chen in the Nine Realms. He killed the Ascension Heavenly King, reclaimed the Supreme Mystic Yellow Flag, and faced eleven united rebel kings in the Heavenly River Realm.

• Chen Qingyu countered the Dark Emperor’s arts, drove off the three attackers, and later cultivated until he could challenge all seven enemy Half-Step Heavenly Lords.
• Chen Qingyu defeated the seven defenders, routing the Earthly Branch Alliance, while the Heavenly Stem Alliance reclaimed territory and he refined Hearts of Myriad Realms.
• Chen Qingyu raced to the Heaven-Reaching Pagoda, climbed to its 999th step, and entered the mist, where he awoke in the body and role of Heavenly Emperor Chen.
• Chen Qingyu learned that twelve rebel kings ruled the Nine Realms and chose the Ascension Heavenly King as his first target.
• Chen Qingyu confronted Luo Linxian, killed him, captured the Supreme Mystic Yellow Flag, and appointed the imprisoned Little Heavenly King as the new Eastern Heavenly King.
• Chen Qingyu learned that the divine artifacts held the boon and that his Half-Step Heavenly Lord rivals had taken rebel kings’ identities, then prepared to meet their united forces.

Chen Qingyu became Heavenly Lord Wanjie, helped reshape the Three Thousand Dao Domains, and established his order across a growing territory in the Heavenly God Realm. Danyang Ju and the Mystery Lord then recruited him to face a perilous place tied to the Great Wilderness’s past destructions.

• Great Emperor Wanxing gave Chen Qingyu the Five-Colored Heaven Altar, and Chen Qingyu forced Great Emperor Dongxu and Liang Jingtiao to surrender the other divine artifacts before ascending as Heavenly Lord Wanjie.
• Chen Qingyu gave Great Emperor Wanxing the golden fruit, allowing him to ascend as well, and the pair joined the Heavenly Lords as the Epoch Cycle began.
• The Heavenly Venerable and the Divine Emperor destroyed and recreated the Three Thousand Dao Domains, and Chen Qingyu established the Order of Heavenly Tribulation while Great Emperor Wanxing connected the domains with his order.
• Chen Qingyu entered the Heavenly God Realm, received a vast store of law-comprehension rewards, and chose to pursue the Law of Order by separating it from his Dao of Myriad Calamities.
