The second part is about 850,000 words long, which is considered a very long novel within the framework. As far as I remember, only the third and fourth volumes of "The First Life" are longer. I think and write every day. Although I am happy, it is really tiring. Especially this month, I also added fitness to my routine, and I almost didn't even have time to read the novel.

The title of this book is " The Faceless," which is intended to have three layers of meaning. Note, note, the following are the standard answers for the reading comprehension section.

One interpretation is promotion to " Faceless," which is the simplest and easiest to think of.

Secondly, it represents Little Klein's living conditions in Backlund. He uses a fake face, a fake name, and a fake identity to get to know people, handle things, and get involved in trouble, but when he returns home, he is still lonely and desolate.

Thirdly, it refers to those who were either crushed into dust or rushed in during the grand sweep of history. In history books, they have no names, no faces, no past, no lives; they exist only in simple numbers or descriptions. In a sense, aren't these the " Faceless "? The simplest extras, the most inconspicuous cannon fodder—who cares what their faces look like?

Just like the saying "In times of great famine, people eat each other," how much sorrow, pain, cruelty, bloodshed, and despair are contained in these six simple words? And how many faceless and nameless living people are encapsulated in them? Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions!

Therefore, I tried to give some descriptions to the Old Kohler, Liv, Freja in the film "The Waves of Time," and tried to restore the hopes, hardships, and tragedies of these " Faceless," making them seem like people rather than numbers. Although this is a major reason why this second part is fragmented, it is also the hidden main theme.

As they passed away, more people like them poured in. The " Faceless " always existed. They were the stepping stones of the times, the pioneers of the times, and indispensable characters in the whole story, making it both real and profound.

With that in mind, I abandoned the more tragic and shocking ending. After all, this movie is called Faceless, and the reversal of the worst and best times can effectively and powerfully express what I want to say: the times move forward, ruthlessly and helplessly, but at our feet lie countless Faceless.

The title of the third book won't have as much symbolism, because the main plot is very clear and direct. Well, the title of the third book is " The Traveler."

While the titles might suggest some clues, we'll focus on the second book. Backlund City still has many unresolved plot lines, such as those related to the Mercury Snake, the Underground Evil Spirit, the Royal Family's true schemes, 0-17, Vampire, and the Psychology Alchemists. This is because we need to give Audrey, Fors, Hugh, and Emlyn of Backlund City a chance to shine, and also because Backlund City is the most important setting in the entire novel. Little Klein will definitely return and stay for a long time.

The second part is described as fragmented, but in the end, when many things are connected, it's not too bad. For me, it's fragmented but well-written, which is quite good. The real problem is something else entirely: the story's pacing is consistently tight and doesn't loosen up. In other words, it's a constant series of events and problems with a lack of sufficiently long and relaxing transitions, which can make reading somewhat tiring and frustrating. While this might be partly due to the Beyonder Characteristic Convergence Effect, it's also because there are some issues with the premise itself.

The problem is that the Tarot Club held weekly, which breaks the timeline into weekly segments, easily leading to a repetitive and monotonous feeling. It's also necessary to ensure that there are certain events every week, so the pace of extraordinary events can be a bit tight. My current solution is to skip some less important Tarot Gathering, giving me more freedom in controlling the time.

Of course, the Tarot Club itself is also a major part, and there will definitely be a lot of content. I haven't forgotten the first time Emlyn joined, and there are many other things that friends have mentioned, such as the church's reaction and the other bronze whistle. I remember them all, but I deliberately held back from writing about them, intending to save them for the beginning of the third part.

This is because we didn't want minor details to dilute or ruin the overall visual impact and emotional progression of the final two images, so we had to use some technical processing.

After finishing the second part, I was happy to have established a series of characters that everyone liked. Using 0-17 to violently end the story wasn't a bad idea. On one hand, it shows that the Church is still very powerful, and there's a reason why it has been able to be the ruling class for so long. On the other hand, it's not an ending, but a continuation, a bridge between the past and the future, pointing to some things that will happen later. I won't go into details to avoid spoilers.

Finally, let me talk about writing style. As I write novel after novel, I increasingly pursue simplicity and penetrating insight. That is to say, I try not to write lengthy articles or fill them with fancy words, but to build up emotions step by step with the calmest and most objective descriptions. At the most appropriate time, I use the most precise and concise language to pierce through the barrier and strike the softest part of the heart.

It seems that although there are still many problems, we can at least be considered to have started.

Of course, the nature of online novel writing means that I can only do this in the most important and necessary chapters. It's impossible to write every chapter this way. Many things can only be revised when I'm older and have more free time. In normal circumstances, I actually have quite a lot of vocabulary, but it's all very unfamiliar. After all, it was all accumulated step by step later and I haven't used it much. In other words, when I'm writing, I habitually use those words from my brain's frequently used list, so it's inevitable that I'll use the same words repeatedly many times.

Also, there are issues like the misuse of adjectives. The goal is to present the image in one's mind in the clearest, most intuitive, and most important way. Therefore, I have tried to be creative in my writing, but there is still room for exploration and improvement.

This concludes the technical summary for Part Two.

Writing is a very hard and grueling task, but when I finish writing and receive praise and compliments, it is especially pleasant and satisfying. Lately, everyone's compliments have made me incredibly happy.

Mysteries, as of today, the highest subscription on the Qidian platform is only 53,000, but the average subscription has exceeded 41,000. The 24-hour subscription was originally around 27,000 to 28,000, and the last seven or eight chapters have officially broken through 31,000. This shows that the retention rate is high, that the vast majority of people who have read it are still following it, and that you all have so much love for it!

Also, my recommendation votes have consistently been in the top 15, and my monthly votes have consistently been in the top 5. I'm a very lazy person, too lazy to have the energy to artificially inflate any data. So, every vote, every tip, and every subscription is a testament to your love!

Gentlemen, now that Part Two has ended, I'd like to ask for praise and a monthly vote!

Please vote for me with monthly tickets! (sound of a groundhog)

Lastly, as usual, I'll take a two-day break, which is Monday and Tuesday. Updates will resume at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, the same time as before.

What? You mean Sunday half-day? I didn't hear that, I didn't hear that... Okay, just kidding. After such a long show, you should take a half-day off.

The third installment, " The Traveler," is coming soon.
