Ugh!
A gust of wind seemed to emanate from Bishop Miller's body, billowing his dark blue priestly robes.
Crack! Crack! Crack! Tree branches from nearby roadside trees snapped and flew into the air.
Donna's body was involuntarily thrown up, thrown several meters, and crashed to the ground, her whole body aching.
Not only her, Cecil, Denton, Dimodo, Harris and others were also blown away by the wind and fell to different places. Only Krivis, Teague and Uldi, either because they had been exercising for a long time and were not light, or because they were obese and unusually heavy, only staggered to the ground and rolled a few times.
Elland, who was facing Bishop Miller, made a series of backward and backflip movements to avoid the oncoming wind pressure.
Klein and Danitz didn't try to fight back; instead, they swayed backward like kites, almost falling over, but ultimately managed to maintain their balance.
As soon as the hurricane subsided, six figures emerged from the dispersed fog. They were all draped in black cloaks, headless, with only their necks still gushing blood. Only the swirling breeze lifted their hoods.
Hey! Hey!
The low growls of wild beasts, poised to pounce, emanated from their throats.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Thin, sharp Wind Blade shot out, leaving obvious, deep gaps where Klein tumbled.
Thump thump thump!
Carrying a lantern, Bishop Miller, whose dark blue priestly robes fluttered gently, was flanked by six headless figures who charged toward Klein, Elland, and the others, causing the ground to tremble.
"One headless monster is already hard to deal with, and now there are six of them... and there's even a bishop who's clearly corrupted!" Danitz, the " Blazing " demon, couldn't help but feel a chill run down his spine when he saw this.
Just then, a flash of brass light flew past his eyes and disappeared into the distance.
Clang, clang, clang, Azik Copper Whistle fell to the ground and bounced a few times.
With a whoosh, the six headless men simultaneously changed direction and rushed towards the spot where Azik Copper Whistle had stopped, leaving Bishop Miller standing alone in place.
Klein seized the opportunity, raised his left hand, ripped off the " The Sun Brooch " from inside his coat, tossed it to Captain Elland, who was closest to him, and simply shouted:
"Infuse with Spirituality, five seconds, holy water."
Having said that, he ignored his silk hat that had been blown away by the wind, bent over slightly, and rushed toward Bishop Miller, sometimes to the left and sometimes to the right.
Whoosh whoosh!
A barrage of Wind Blade shot out, all aimed at Klein.
Numerous knife-cut marks instantly appeared on the ground, while Klein either rolled, dove to the side, or braced himself with his hands and leaped up, dodging the first round of concentrated fire.
The Red Light in Bishop Miller's eyes intensified, and he raised his hands.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!
At that moment, the Wind Blade ' attacks were like machine gun fire. Klein only had time to dodge most of them before his body was torn apart, turning into thin, light scraps of paper that floated in the air.
Klein appeared in another direction and continued rushing towards Bishop Miller, trying to close the distance between them to a level where he could exert his full strength!
Upon catching the " The Sun Brooch," Elland immediately felt the intense heat and wished he could strip off his clothes and jump into the nearly frozen water.
After pondering briefly the words left by Gehrman Sparrow, he took out a square, tin-colored flask from inside his clothes, unscrewed the lid, and poured out all the Lerunqi inside. The rich aroma of the flask quickly filled the surroundings.
" Blazing " Danitz surveyed the area, gaining a better understanding of the situation.
He grimaced and knelt down on one knee, slamming his palms onto the ground.
Two crimson fire serpents appeared out of thin air, stretching along the ground towards the location of Azik Copper Whistle, erecting four walls of blazing fire around it.
He had originally planned to throw a fireball at Bishop Miller, allowing Gehrman Sparrow to easily leap to his vicinity and launch an attack. However, after observing the still fierce winds raging around the bishop, he rationally abandoned this plan and decided to clear out the headless Monster first to prevent them from interfering with Gehrman Sparrow's ability to unleash his true power.
Krivis, Cecil, Teague, and Harris had now stood up again, retrieved their guns, and protected Uldi, Donna, Dimodo, and the others in the center, guarding against any other Monster that might arrive.
Their experience taught them that it was best not to meddle in battles that were not of human origin without prior training in teamwork.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Ignoring the scorching flames, the six headless men rushed over the crimson wall and pounced on the Azik Copper Whistle like hungry dogs.
This gave Elland time to calmly infuse the Spirituality into the " The Sun Brooch " and wait for the holy water to condense and flow into the square wine jug.
Seeing the group of headless men fighting amongst themselves, Danitz's heart stirred. He bent over slightly, his face flushed, and conjured a long spear with a blazing white tip in his right palm.
He took a step forward, swung his arm, and hurled the flaming spear, which whistled as it struck a headless man and pinned him to the ground.
A blazing white flame erupted, and half of the headless man's body turned to ashes. The rest of the body continued to burn, constantly emitting blackish-green gas.
Seeing that his attack had succeeded, Danitz was about to press his advantage when he suddenly sensed a kind of insane, terrifying hunger.
In that instant, he felt as if he were standing on the edge of Abyss, just one step away from falling in.
He knew that Gehrman Sparrow was no longer suppressing the mad soul within him.
After using the Paper Figurine Substitute three times, Klein finally reached the predetermined distance.
Suddenly, the glove on his left hand erupted with a long-suppressed hunger, wriggling and sprouting dark golden scales.
Klein's pupils then dimmed, as if they were about to swell.
Then, his eyes reflected Bishop Miller dark blue robes were gently swaying.
Without a sound, the middle-aged man who was about to create a large number of Wind Blade suddenly tilted his head back and froze for a second.
His eyes, glowing with Red Light, had lost their reason and were filled with a sense of madness. His skin became smooth and mottled, like the skin of some aquatic creature.
He let out a gasp that sounded like it came from the depths of the ocean, and suddenly, slippery, disgusting tentacles emerged from beneath his blue robe!
The " Frenzy " of a " Psychiatrist "!
Klein originally only intended to interrupt the opponent's attack and create an opportunity for subsequent control, but he did not expect that Bishop Miller would lose control after Frenzy!
Once the other party, who has long Depravity or tainted, loses the last shackle of reason, they immediately plunge into the Abyss of out-of-control chaos!
Seeing this, Klein's pupils contracted, and without further hesitation, he switched the soul he was controlling.
As the other party went berserk, his left glove turned gold, his expression became dignified, and his gaze once again locked onto Bishop Miller.
Two beams of light, like lightning, flashed instantly in his pupils.
Suddenly, Bishop Miller let out a scream, his hands and tentacles retracting completely as he covered his head.
His spirit was pierced, causing him unspeakable, extreme pain.
" The Interrogator!"
Klein pushed himself up with his right palm and stood up, his left hand immediately emitting a brilliant light.
Immediately afterwards, he leaned back and opened his arms as if embracing the Sun.
A thick, pure, and blazing beam of light descended from the sky and landed on Bishop Miller, completely enveloping him.
The surroundings became as bright as day, and the fierce wind suddenly stopped.
Sequence 5, " Light Priest "!
Bishop Miller's body began to evaporate, first his skin, then his tentacles, and finally his flesh.
When the brilliant pillar of light disappeared, he was no longer human, but Monster made of bones and flesh, his breath extremely weak.
However, he is not dead yet!
The vitality of those who are out of control is unprecedentedly tenacious!
Klein's expression remained unchanged. He rushed to Bishop Miller's mangled body, knelt on one knee, leaned forward, and pressed his left palm onto the pool of flesh.
He stopped using the " Light Priest's " abilities so that he could leave food for the " Creeping Hunger "!
A crack silently appeared in the palm of the glove, from which two rows of illusory, white teeth grew, frantically devouring flesh, bones, and Spirituality.
But Bishop Miller was still struggling. He solidified his flesh and blood, growing several new tentacles that tried to wrap around Klein and pull him into his embrace.
Klein dropped his cane, drew his revolver, aimed at the Monster, and fired five shots.
Bang bang bang bang bang!
Bullets, some pale gold, some brass, and some silver, struck Bishop Miller, igniting flames of different colors.
Bishop Miller let out another bloodcurdling scream, powerless to resist the " Creeping Hunger." His flesh and soul turned into a torrent and were swallowed by that Greed mouth.
In just two or three seconds, only fragments of clothing, banknotes, and slowly gathering dark blue- Green Light remained on the ground.
This is the difference between " Devouring " and " Grazing ".
Klein preferred the latter, but there was no other food available.
Meanwhile, Captain Elland had already created two waves of holy water into the square jug.
Danitz quickly shouted at him:
"Throw it over!"
Without hesitation, Elland threw the wine jug at the headless man who was snatching the bronze whistle.
Danitz cleared his throat and straightened up.
He casually put his left hand in his pocket, and pushed his right hand straight forward, quickly conjuring crimson fire crows around him.
These semi-illusory fire crows flapped their wings and flew out, following different routes, all crashing into the square wine jug, right on top of the group of headless people.
Rumble!
The square wine jug shattered, and the Sun Holy Water poured down in abundance.
Sizzle! The remaining headless men were all drenched, screaming and convulsing as they collapsed to the ground.
They quickly dissolved into blood, while the Azik Copper Whistle lay quietly in the clean area in the center.
Solved... Gehrman Sparrow is really strong, even against the captain, he has the ability to hold his own... It's a pity I didn't see him use any extraordinary abilities just now... Danitz turned to look at Klein standing in front of the relics left by Bishop Miller, and sighed silently.
Then he saw Gehrman Sparrow give him a cold glance.
Subconsciously, Danitz ran out in frustration and retrieved Azik Copper Whistle.
Donna rubbed her bruised arm and saw Sparrow, dressed in a black tuxedo, walk back a few steps, bend down to pick up the half-high silk hat, silently dust it off, and put it back on.
P. S.: I'd like to recommend a book, "Sorry, Having a System Is Really Amazing." It's by Chou Shen, who is widely recognized as a good guy among male Author. He always shares quietly and keeps his achievements hidden. His books are funny, refreshing, and a bit sassy.
