Xiao Tian helped Fan Yunfei and Li Xueyang restore their memories and reunite, then returned to Tushan and gathered allies into the Mask Group. He led the group to Northern Mountain, where they began targeting Black Wind Mountain and its golden essence stone.

• Xiao Tian helped Qing Muyuan defeat Chi Lei, then used the Dream Memory Hammer and Reincarnation Rekindling Powder to restore Li Xueyang’s memories and reunite her with Fan Yunfei.
• After Fan Yunfei and Li Xueyang completed their bond, Xiao Tian traveled with Tushan Yaya to Tushan, where he challenged the Yiqi Dao League’s proposed alliance and escaped Yaya’s attempts to hypnotize him.
• Xiao Tian recruited Ji Wuji into the Mask Group, equipped its members with special masks, and gathered Qing Muyuan, Wangquan Baye, Li Zizai, Li Quzhuo, Yang Yitan, Zhang Zheng, Deng Qiyue, and the Dongfang sisters.
• Xiao Tian led the Mask Group to Northern Mountain and set a trial requiring each member to defeat or kill a Demon King without outside help to raise the group’s star rating.

Xiao Tian and the Mask Group took over Black Wind Mountain’s golden essence mine, forcing its demons to work while capturing Lord Ji. As Northern Mountain’s forces gathered, Dark Golden Dawn seized Lord Ji and transformed him into a Demon Emperor, leading the group into a fierce fight.

• Wangquan Baye killed One-Horned Ox King, and Xiao Tian’s group looted the golden essence mine before driving off Great King Blood Wind.
• Xiao Tian’s group defeated Black Wind Mountain’s army, captured Great King Black Wind, and made the demons mine golden essence stones.
• The group developed combination techniques and used one to wound Lord Ji, then captured him and promised the miners release after a month of work.
• Xiao Tian exposed Great King Black Wind’s escape plan and let the Demon Kings leave, while the White Rhinoceros Demon King and Scarlet Bird took on duties in the mine.
• King Samo and Kang Jinlong rallied Northern Mountain’s factions after Lord Ji’s capture, while Xiao Tian proposed a nonaggression pact in exchange for releasing Lord Ji.

Xiao Tian led the Mask Group through a clash with Northern Mountain’s demons, secured Black Wind Mountain, and built a home for humans and demons willing to live and work together. A search for the mysterious pavilion at a mass graveyard uncovered the Heavenly Longevity Star Heroic Spirit, who warned that the True Spirit’s descent was near.

• Xiao Tian freed Deng Qiyue from Dark Golden Dawn, killed the creature, and offered Calming Pills to steady the group’s minds.
• Xiao Tian taught the group a basic breathing technique, transformed barren land into farmland, and led them toward the conflict between Northern Mountain’s demons and the Yiqi Dao League.
• Xiao Tian defeated the Head of the Xiao Family, challenged Northern Mountain’s demons to an eating contest, and helped the Mask Group take control of Black Wind Mountain.
• Xiao Tian released the Three-Legged Golden Rooster, renamed Black Wind Mountain World-Creation Mountain, and accepted supplies and an alliance offer from Northern Mountain’s Demon Kings.
• Xiao Tian let the demons choose whether to leave or take jobs, and about eight hundred stayed to work at World-Creation Mountain.

Xiao Tian and his allies fought the Heavenly Dipper Star and then confronted the Ancestor of the Heavenly Dipper Dark Stars. The Ancestor trapped Xiao Tian in her realm, where their prolonged battle ended with her realm failing and her using Dark Star Bewitchment against him.

• Xiao Tian and his allies destroyed the mass graveyard’s field, defeated the Heavenly Longevity Star Heroic Spirit, and pursued the Heavenly Dipper Star’s secrets with Tian Ku Star.
• Xiao Tian and Wangquan Baye broke the barrier holding Tian Tui Star, and she shared the history of the Dark Star Power before joining them at the graveyard.
• Xiao Tian fought the Heavenly Dipper Star, learned to counter its Dark Star Power, and joined Tushan Honghong, Wangquan Baye, and Shi Kuan in dismembering it and sealing it with Heavenly Tribulation Light.
• A Star Slave summoned the Ancestor of the Heavenly Dipper Dark Stars, who emerged and fought Xiao Tian and his allies as their attacks failed against her altered magnetic field.
• Xiao Tian sealed the Ancestor inside a mountain, then attacked her again after she began assimilating the world, using his Staff Strike to the Head and Tensei Jōgan to pierce and weaken her.
• The Ancestor’s star pattern swallowed Xiao Tian and brought him into her territory in the Heavenly Dipper Star Realm, where she demanded that he become her Star Slave.
• Xiao Tian and the Ancestor repeatedly killed and resurrected each other for over a month, until her power supply weakened and her realm began to fade.
• The Ancestor invoked the true spirits of the Thirty-Six Heavenly Dipper Stars to detonate her realm and used Dark Star Bewitchment, leaving Xiao Tian dizzy and feverish.
