The demons scrambled to answer, "Exactly! How could we be worthy of taking refuge in the World-Honored One without committing great evil?"
Moluo sprang to his feet. "What a pack of demons and monsters! Even I go around doing good deeds, yet you have committed every evil imaginable. Heaven cannot tolerate you!"
"What?" The demons were stunned. "World-Honored One, you... do good?"
"That's right." Moluo countered, "What is wrong with that?"
The demons cried anxiously, "That won't do! If you do good, how are we supposed to live? You should be doing evil!"
The jackal demon raised a human leg. "Would the World-Honored One like a taste? It smells wonderful."
Moluo backed away again and again. "Today, I shall do another good deed—slay demons and eliminate monsters!"
Before his words had even faded, the demonic flower between his brows blazed brilliantly. Boundless demonic flames instantly swept through the entire temple. The demons howled miserably within the sea of fire, turning to ash in the blink of an eye.
