Ch. 41A New 6-Star Opportunity, the Star Ripple Secret Realm

After killing Elijah and Modu, Chu Yuan returned to Water Dragon Planet and discovered a 6-star opportunity in the Star Ripple Secret Realm. He gathered information about the realm and set out to investigate it.

  • Chu Yuan refused to capture more Radiance Empire royals, reasoning that they posed no threat and that he could not eliminate all of Elijah and Modu’s descendants.
  • Chu Yuan returned to the Virtual Universe and learned that rumors about the deaths of Elijah and Modu and the Radiance Empire’s destruction had spread across Black Dragon Mountain.
  • Chu Yuan returned to Water Dragon Planet, where the Star-Eating Grass had evolved to Universe Level 9 with eighteen enormous main vines.
  • Chu Yuan asked Feiluan to list 6-star opportunities with death rates below 15%, and she identified the Star Ripple Secret Realm’s Turbid Abyss Continent.
  • Chu Yuan spent two days gathering intelligence about the Star Ripple Secret Realm, then departed aboard the Dragon Abyss.

Ch. 42The Danger-Ridden Turbid Abyss Continent

Chu Yuan entered the Star Ripple Secret Realm and traveled to the Turbid Abyss Continent, where he fought off a flock of Bat Eagles and headed toward a six-star opportunity. He and his companions then encountered an adventurer pursued by native fighters, and a powerful native arrived to strike the adventurer down.

  • Chu Yuan arrived at the Star Ripple Secret Realm aboard the Dragon Abyss spaceship and proceeded toward the Turbid Abyss Continent.
  • Chu Yuan learned that the continent’s natives, adventurers, and beasts all posed dangers, then ordered the spaceship to fire on a flock of Bat Eagles; the blast killed the strongest Bat Eagles and scattered the rest.
  • Chu Yuan landed in the Gobi desert with six Universe Level 8 bodyguards and set out toward the Heavenly River Mountain Range, planning to collect nearby four-star opportunities along the way.
  • Feiluan spotted four Universe Level combatants fighting, and Chu Yuan identified one as an adventurer battling three native fighters.
  • A Universe Level 9 red-haired native arrived and swung an iron hammer at the bearded adventurer, who could not evade the blow.

Ch. 43The underground world, the white sun

Chu Yuan's group reached the Heavenly River Mountain Range, harvested a valuable Blue Crystal Fruit Tree, and dug 170,000 kilometers underground to reach a hidden world. There, they found the white sun surrounding the treasure marked by the six-star opportunity.

  • After witnessing natives brutally kill an adventurer, Chu Yuan warned his group to avoid detection and kept moving toward the Heavenly River Mountain Range.
  • Guided by Feiluan, Chu Yuan's group entered a numbered waterfall and found a Blue Crystal Fruit Tree bearing valuable fruit 1,472 kilometers underground.
  • Chu Yuan ordered the Star-Eating Grass to uproot the tree and stored it in a World Ring.
  • Chu Yuan and his bodyguards dug through underground rock until they reached a vast, bright underground world 170,000 kilometers below the mountain range.
  • Following Feiluan's route, Chu Yuan found a brilliant white sun and saw a round crystal at its center, the treasure indicated by the six-star opportunity.

Ch. 44Great Void Spirit Crystal

Chu Yuan discovered a Great Void Spirit Crystal and learned it could enhance his Space Origin Law affinity, grant him clones, and raise his gene multiplier. Before he could claim it, a Hard Rock Race lifeform attacked, and Chu Yuan's Star-Eating Grass restrained it.

  • Feiluan identified the Great Void Spirit Crystal and explained its benefits and guaranteed fusion success to Chu Yuan.
  • A gigantic Hard Rock Race lifeform emerged from a mountain, and Feiluan explained its 30x gene level, strength, and stone-heart weakness.
  • Chu Yuan ordered Star Pupil No. 1 to test the rock lifeform with a laser gun, which repeatedly blasted its body apart without destroying its stone heart.
  • The rock lifeform reassembled and attacked Chu Yuan, but the Star-Eating Grass caught its projectiles and bound it to the ground.

Ch. 45100-Fold Genes, Crossing the Threshold of the Space Origin Law

Chu Yuan captured a Hard Rock Race Special Lifeform and fused with the Great Void Spirit Crystal, raising his life genes to a hundredfold and gaining a Life Core. After two months of training, he formed a true Space Phantom and crossed the threshold of the Space Origin Law.

  • The Star-Eating Grass restrained the rock man, extracted his stone heart, and brought it to Chu Yuan, who stored it for later sale.
  • Chu Yuan fused with the Great Void Spirit Crystal, and his life genes rose to a hundredfold as the crystal became his Life Core.
  • Chu Yuan learned that his Life Core could nurture up to three clones, each with life genes no more than fifty times those of his original body.
  • Chu Yuan discovered that he could sense the Space Origin Law far more clearly and began practicing the Illusory Space secret technique.
  • After two months of training, Chu Yuan condensed a true Space Phantom that could fight for less than half a second.

Ch. 46The Great Purge

Chu Yuan celebrated his rise in strength while a great purge drove three outsiders into the hidden underground world beneath the Heavenly River Mountain Range. After they threatened to seize his treasures, Chu Yuan ordered his bodyguards to kill their two Universe Level 8 fighters and reserve the red-skinned young man for him.

  • Chu Yuan celebrated his new strength and accomplishments with his six Universe Level bodyguards.
  • A Snake-man, an Ape-man spirit reader, and the Star Level 9 Fourth Highness fled native pursuers during the great purge and hid deep beneath the Heavenly River Mountain Range.
  • The three outsiders discovered the underground world, assumed it held treasures, and threatened whoever had arrived before them.
  • Feiluan detected the intruders and showed Chu Yuan their approach, while Chu Yuan decided to test himself against the Fourth Highness after killing his bodyguards.
  • Star Pupil No. 1 fired a D9-class laser gun, vaporizing both Universe Level 8 bodyguards and leaving the Fourth Highness stunned.

Ch. 47Once I Kill You, Your Treasures Will Still Be Mine

Chu Yuan killed a young man from the Tuta Family and led his bodyguards into battle against six native Universe Levels during a great purge. After his guards defeated the natives, Chu Yuan decided to fight their way out rather than wait for the purge to end.

  • Chu Yuan’s bodyguards cornered the fleeing young man, and Chu Yuan ordered them to kill him before taking his storage ring.
  • Feiluan detected six native Universe Levels approaching, and Star Pupil No. 1 shot the Universe Level 9 native with a laser gun.
  • Chu Yuan explained that the natives had begun a great purge, and his bodyguards charged into battle against the remaining natives.
  • Xingtong Two, Star Pupil No. 3, and the Black Blade bodyguards killed their opponents and brought Chu Yuan their treasures.
  • Chu Yuan rejected the suggestion to wait out the purge and ordered his group to fight their way out.

Ch. 48Breaking out of the encirclement

Chu Yuan and his bodyguards fought through a native ambush and escaped in the E2-class spaceship Dragon Abyss. As they climbed toward space, three D-class spaceships closed in on them.

  • Feiluan reported thirteen Universe Level natives had blocked every escape route, and Chu Yuan ordered Star Pupil One to kill the two strongest with the laser gun.
  • Star Pupil One shot down both Universe Level 9 natives, and Chu Yuan's bodyguards charged through the waterfall to begin the breakout.
  • A native attacked Chu Yuan, but the Star-Eating Grass killed him and six more natives before Chu Yuan summoned the Dragon Abyss.
  • Chu Yuan and his five bodyguards boarded the spaceship, and Star Pupil No. 1 killed a Universe Level 8 native before joining them as they escaped.
  • The Dragon Abyss rose through the clouds while Chu Yuan watched battles across the continent; then Feiluan detected three D-class spaceships approaching, two behind them and one ahead.

Ch. 49Returning fully laden

Chu Yuan escaped the Turbid Abyss Continent by ramming the Dragon Abyss through a D-class spaceship, killing the Domain Lord Hengshan. The natives launched a harsher purge of extraterrestrial adventurers while Chu Yuan traveled safely through the Dark Universe.

  • Chu Yuan ordered the Dragon Abyss to ram the D-class spaceship, destroying it and killing Hengshan before escaping into the Dark Universe.
  • Zhuoya returned to the Turbid Abyss Continent after an elder ordered him to reinforce the defenses, and he demanded that the purge continue until all extraterrestrial invaders were dead.
  • The natives intensified their searches, driving hidden adventurers into flight and killing many of them.
  • Two Universe Level 9 adventurers fled through the Heavenly River Mountain Range as their pursuers caught up, and the elf admitted he would thank Chu Yuan if the ordeal helped him break through.
  • Feiluan complained that the New Longyuan lacked powerful weapons, and Chu Yuan explained that World Lord Huoyao's backup ship could not have an E-class laser cannon.

Ch. 50The first form of the Flame Void Saber

Chu Yuan mastered the Prairie Fire Form of the Flame Void Saber after advancing his Fire Domain and deepening his grasp of the Fire Origin Law. Back on Stardust Island, he found a large crowd gathered to watch top-ranked Kangas challenge the Trial Tower.

  • Chu Yuan and Feiluan appraised the seized treasures, finding thirty tonnes of valuable Star Ripple Sand among mostly inferior loot.
  • Chu Yuan practiced the Flame Void secret technique for nine days, advancing his Fire Domain to the eighth stage and mastering the Prairie Fire Form.
  • Feiluan and Xiong Ba congratulated Chu Yuan, while Xiong Ba privately hoped Chu Yuan would one day avenge his former master.
  • Chu Yuan celebrated with his six bodyguards, then returned to Water Dragon Planet and visited the Virtual Universe's Trial Tower on Stardust Island.
  • Telian told Chu Yuan that Kangas's challenge had drawn more than a thousand spectators, and Chu Yuan questioned whether Kangas could clear the tenth layer.
