Arc 2Furina’s Trial and Sacrifice

  • Paimon and Lumine found Furina in Poisson after she fled an angry crowd, and Furina resolved to keep fighting for Fontaine rather than accept its fate.
  • Furina agreed to stand trial, and Lumine accused her of not being a god as the courtroom challenged her claims and tested her with Primordial Sea Water.

  • A giant whale burst into the opera house, and Neuvillette and Tartaglia drove it away as Lumine realized Furina might have been about to reveal something important.
  • Focalors explained to Neuvillette that she had separated her divinity from Furina and made Furina play the Hydro Archon for centuries to deceive the Heavenly Principles and save Fontaine.
  • Lumine witnessed Furina’s lonely years and saw her refuse to confide in her, while Focalors revealed that Furina had never known the plan and that the Oratrice held enough power to destroy the divine throne.
  • Focalors returned the Hydro Archon’s authority to Neuvillette through her death, and her final message told Furina to live happily as a human.
