"Elder brother!"

A hint of panic flashed across Anveena's face, but she quickly recovered. A pure white Moon Goddess's power descended upon Jiang Jie, purifying the evil witchcraft and restoring Jiang Jie to health.

" Hex? I wonder how it compares to Zul'jin of Amani! Probably far inferior?"

Jiang Jie snorted coldly and struggled violently. Six dragon-like streams of energy swirled around his body, pushing the vines apart.

Jiang Jie leaped up, pushed his palms out, and unleashed a torrent of true Chi. Six streams of energy, like six divine dragons, surged into the Atal'ai Troll. The Atal'ai Troll were struck by the immense force, screaming and falling to the ground. Within five seconds, only a few remained standing.

Of course, this level of attack was not enough to cause them much damage. With their Regeneration abilities, they were far more difficult to deal with than fully armed elite human soldiers.

Unless their physical structure is completely destroyed and they are dismembered, there is no way to kill them. It will only lead to an endless entanglement, and then you can forget about dealing with Hakkar.

"Brother, I sense a terrible evil descending upon me. Cold, evil, Bloodlust— how terrifying!"

Anveena's voice rang out, Jiang Jie frowned deeply.

He also sensed the arrival of evil; the aura grew stronger and stronger. Clearly, the Atal'ai Troll had summoned Hakkar ahead of time, right there in the Sanctum of the Fallen God on the other side. The Jammal'an the Prophet might not be the leader of all the Atal'ai Troll; the true leader was someone else entirely.

" Anveena, we need to hurry!"

Jiang Jie suddenly went berserk, and with a slash of his divine sword, he actually severed the chains binding a certain dragon-man, releasing it!

The next moment, the dragonman, whose blood had been drained by nearly a third, roared and grabbed the chains, throwing them at the nearest Atal'ai Troll. He then pulled the Troll close, wrapped one arm around its body, and grabbed its neck with the other, tearing its neck off!

This dragon-man possesses the strength of a thousand pounds in his arm, a strength almost comparable to Jiang Jie's!

Immediately afterwards, the dragonman grabbed the Troll's giant axe and walked toward the other dragonmen and baby dragons, intending to release them.

Clearly, although the dragonkin have been corrupted by the Nightmare, their intelligence remains, and they may even have become more cunning and treacherous. They have decided to release all the dragonkin and their young to wipe out the Troll that are draining their blood.

Jiang Jie made another move, rescuing several more dragonmen. Then he ran wildly, using the walls for leverage, leaping over more than a dozen Troll in mid-air, and slashed his divine sword heavily at the Jammal'an the Prophet at the very back!

Bang!

With a crisp sound, Jiang Jie landed steadily. Jammal'an was not dead, because a Troll who looked stronger and was covered in bandages blocked Jiang Jie with a light blue one-handed sword.

However, in order to block Jiang Jie, he flew out along with his one-handed sword. With no obstacles in front of Jiang Jie, he appeared in front of the Jammal'an the Prophet like a ghost, and the divine sword pierced his heart.

Enemies of this caliber were no longer a concern for Jiang Jie.

Flames burned, engulfing Jammal'an's body, and the unwilling prophet let out a final roar:

"Pathetic humans, despicable green dragon! You cannot stop Hakkar's arrival; he will surely devour the entire world."

"I'm sorry, I didn't intend to stop Hakkar's arrival. I really want to meet that evil guy!" Jiang Jie drew his sword, and Jammal'an fell to the ground.

The death of Jammal'an ignited the entire audience.

The enraged Atal'ai Troll immediately charged towards Jiang Jie, but how could the dragonmen and the young dragons let this opportunity pass? They immediately gave chase.

" Anveena, let's go!"

Jiang Jie unleashed a powerful and sweeping attack, his divine sword blocking the attacks of several Troll. He arrived beside Anveena and then charged towards the Pool of Sacrifice with the force of Rushing Thunder.

In the world of martial arts, speed is the only way to overcome any obstacle.

Jiang Jie was extremely fast, and Anveena's flying speed was equally impressive; they quickly left all the Troll behind.

The entire Pool of Sacrifice was almost devoid of dragonkin or whelps.

Everyone was drawn to the entrance by Itharius. Only in a passage further away could one see the green dragon whelp, Eranikus's most valued subordinate, who had been corrupted along with Eranikus and remained by his side. Crossing the entire Pool of Sacrifice, Jiang Jie rushed towards the Sanctum of the Fallen God on the other side.

The closer you get, the more powerful the evil aura becomes.

As they rushed into the passage and were about to arrive at the Sanctum of the Fallen God, Jiang Jie's expression changed slightly:

That evil power reached its peak; Hakkar's avatar had descended!

Ahead were flying serpents, each about three meters long, with wings like those of an eagle; these were Wind Serpent, descendants of Hakkar.

Overall, it looks similar to the feathered serpent in Mayan mythology, only much smaller.

These Atal'ai Wind Serpent were roughly as strong as, or even weaker than, the Nightmare Hatchlings, and were not difficult to deal with. Jiang Jie them one by one with his sword, maintaining his speed, and soon rushed into the hall in front of him, where the space suddenly opened up.

This was a large sacrificial hall, with a strange black altar in the center, surrounded by candles as thick as an arm, but all the candles had been extinguished. There were also broken jars on the ground, containing remnants of blood, which was the Blood of Hakkar, transformed from the body of the green dragon.

This is the altar for resurrecting Hakkar. However, it is impossible to resurrect the real Hakkar here. Therefore, the large Wind Serpent, which is seven or eight meters long and consists only of bones, flying above the altar is not the real Hakkar, but merely an avatar.

Hakkar is probably not a physical being, but a creature from another world. To descend into this world, it must have a vessel, and that vessel is its offspring: the Wind Serpent.

The stronger the vessel, the stronger the power of Hakkar can withstand, and the stronger the resurrected Hakkar avatar will be.

Wind Serpent have very long lifespans, some even living for hundreds or thousands of years. Therefore, a very small number of Wind Serpent can grow to be very large, such as several stories high, like a giant dragon.

In some legends, the powerful Wind Serpent is said to be able to fight dragons, although most historians and sociologists believe this is nothing more than an exaggeration by Wind Serpent believers and not worthy of belief.

The vessel that Hakkar's avatar is currently in is clearly not powerful enough. Therefore, judging from the energy level alone, the Hakkar avatar after its descent seems to be only at the Legendary level, and even then, it is merely an ordinary Legendary level.

This vessel might have been able to hold more of Hakkar's power, but unfortunately, the Atal'ai Troll didn't have enough time to extract more of Blood of Hakkar, or even to allow Hakkar to Hemorrhage; it was merely a skeleton, essentially a bone snake.

Several Atal'ai Troll surrounded them, each a high-ranking priest with considerable energy. Among them, one Troll, clad in a splendid suit of armor, stood out from the crowd.

The other Atal'ai Troll all prostrated themselves on the ground after Hakkar's avatar appeared, looking like they were saying, "Master, I'm a good girl and need your love." Only the Troll who stood out from the crowd looked disappointed.

He stared at the resurrected Hakkar avatar before him, his eyes filled with mystery.

"We've prepared for so long, and this is all we've resurrected? It's not even as good as me!"

"I understand! This temple cannot resurrect the real Hakkar; only Gurubashi can! Only there are thousands of years of Hakkar priesthood! Only there can a more powerful Wind Serpent serve as its vessel!"

"I'm going to Gurubashi, right now!"

"I am Jin'do the Hexxer, I am Hakkar's servant! I must awaken it!"

After finishing his self-talk, the Troll troll turned to look at Jiang Jie and Anveena, who were charging towards him, a hint of mockery on his face.

He then abandoned all the Atal'ai priests Wind Serpent, and the avatar of Hakkar, and departed in the chaos.

He was very familiar with this place, seemingly knowing some hidden passages, and then vanished in the blink of an eye.

" Jin'do the Hexxer! It's Jin'do the Hexxer!"

"He's going to Gurubashi to resurrect the real Hakkar!"

Stop him!

Jiang Jie was about to rush over and kill Jin'do, but more Wind Serpent rushed over, and the Atal'ai priests looked crazed and began casting spells one by one.

Shadow spells, Frost spells, Fire spells, Polymorph

These guys' spells are very diverse; it's a unique spell system of Troll, completely different from the spell system inherited from the Night Elf.

" Anveena, these spellcasters are yours!"

"As for this disgusting behemoth, leave it to me!"

Jiang Jie forward and blocked Hakkar.
