"The first Lich King, King of the Forsaken, was King Thoradin. (Sui-meng-. lā)"
Jiang Jie raised his hand, Lich King Armor landed before King Thoradin: "Wear it, King Thoradin! Remember: restrain your ambition, control the temptation of power, and resist the curse of evil! Otherwise, I will personally take this armor, and with it, your life!"
Thoradin stood up, Lich King Armor fell onto him.
The coldest ice in the world solidified on his body. With this armor, he would become a being more powerful than Arthas, Demigod, the true Lich King.
He will be able to wield Demigod- level frost and mental power, as well as equally powerful death energy.
The next moment, Thoradin felt his spirit instantly expand, enveloping the entire Naxxramas, and then continue to expand, quickly covering the entire Icecrown Glacier, and then continuing to expand until it covered the entire Northrend.
He continued to unleash his spiritual power and discovered that if he wished, his spirit could become a line extending to every corner of Azeroth, but he could not directly envelop the entire Azeroth with his spiritual power.
It wasn't that the Lich King Armor was inadequate; it was that his soul and spiritual power were insufficient.
This is why the Lich King's soul and spirit must not be too powerful.
The Lich King's power must be limited!
As the Lich King wears this armor for longer and longer, his soul and spirit will grow at an extremely rapid pace.
This is why the Lich King's term can only last 30 years.
Thoradin really enjoyed this feeling; for a moment, he even thought:
I am now omnipotent!
Ambition began to grow, and the allure of power became irresistible.
He wanted to possess this armor forever; he never wanted to take it off!
This feeling is so exhilarating! Anyone with such power would never want to fall back down!
But soon, he ran into a wall.
His mind swept through recklessly; ignorance is bliss, and he touched upon one taboo territory after another.
His first contact was with Dalaran, the closest city, and the Red Dalaran Red Dragonflight beside it, sensing several formidable entities:
He sensed the soul of the red dragon Krasus, a soul close to that of Demigod, extremely resilient, which even he, with his current Demigod- level mental power, could hardly shake.
Then the spirit continued to be released, enveloping the Coldarra of the Borean Tundra, the territory of the Blue Dragonflight.
The first thing he sensed was the Red Dragon Queen Alexstrasza...
At that moment, an incredibly massive red dragon appeared in his mind, and then he heard a cold snort and sensed an immense dragon's might that nearly crushed his spirit!
The Red Dragon Queen's soul was at the level of Peak Demigod, and although her spiritual power was not as great as her soul, it was still at the level of High-tier Demigod.
The Red Dragon Queen doesn't have the Lich King Armor to amplify her power, but if she so desires, her spirit can extend to every corner of this world, and her spiritual world is far more robust than Thoradin's.
If the Red Dragon Queen's spiritual world is an ocean, then Thoradin's spiritual world is a fog, covering the same area but far less solid than the other's.
Thoradin quickly avoided the Red Dragon Queen, sensing her anger and daring not to provoke her.
He's someone you can't afford to mess with.
Even if he became the Lich King, he was still someone you couldn't afford to offend.
He even suspected:
Is there some restriction preventing this Red Dragon Queen from attacking the Scourge?
Otherwise, how could the Lich King Ner'zhul and Arthas dare to invade the Wyrmrest Temple?
Are you kidding me!
He didn't know that the authority of the Queen of the Dragon Aspects could not be used against mortals.
In the eyes of the Red Dragon Queen, Arthas was nothing more than a mere mortal.
Suddenly, he sensed the mysterious, powerful, and unimaginable Arcane energy of the Coldarra and wanted to go inside to take a look.
The next moment, he sensed an equally enormous dragon—the King of the Blue Dragons!
The King of the Blue Dragons, teetering on the brink of madness, glared at Thoradin with obvious displeasure. Thoradin felt his mental world nearly explode, and he was on the verge of being driven insane by the influence. He quickly withdrew his consciousness from Coldarra and made a firm decision:
I will never spy on Coldarra again in my life, it's too terrifying!
His mind then continued its sweep, across Dragonblight, and arrived at Grizzly Hills.
Then he saw two bears.
The two bears simultaneously raised their heads, met his gaze, and roared twice. Thoradin trembled, quickly regaining his composure, a lingering fear gripping him.
The combined souls of those two bears are no less powerful than those of the Red Dragon Queen and the King of the Blue Dragons; even Grizzly Hills cannot glimpse them, not in this lifetime!
Then, his gaze swept over Zul'Drak, and he finally felt somewhat happier:
Although Zul'Drak has a number of near- Demigod- level souls residing there, they are not powerful enough. Given the opportunity, it's not impossible to expand into Zul'Drak, since Zul'Drak's connected to Crystalsong Forest and there are still some Undead residing there, making an advance not difficult.
The mental scan continued, reaching Storm Peaks.
King Thoradin had gained some understanding of Storm Peaks during this time and knew that the water there was very deep, so he was being very careful this time.
But he soon realized that he had underestimated the water at the Storm Peaks:
I actually sensed the mental power of seven or eight Demigod in a row! That's terrifying! The water's a bit too deep, isn't it?
Thoradin suddenly felt a bit of admiration for Arthas:
Ignorance is bliss! They actually dared to stick their hands into the Storm Peaks!
If those few hadn't, for some unknown reason, refrained from intervening, would Arthas still be alive today?
Thoradin secretly swore in his heart:
I will never go near Storm Peaks in my lifetime!
You really can't touch them. What if they hold a grudge and kill a few, then bring along those terrifying Storm Giants, frost giants, and Stone Giants? How are you supposed to play then?
He calculated it carefully:
The Borean Tundra is inhabited by the King of the Blue Dragons and the Blue Dragonflight; do not touch it.
Dragonblight is inhabited by the Red Dragon Queen and her Red Dragonflight; do not touch them.
Grizzly Hills has two Demigod bears and 20,000 Furbolg; you cannot touch them.
Storm Peaks is infested with Demigod and countless terrifying giants; do not touch it.
The Sholazar Basin was personally warned by the Grand Duke to be absolutely off-limits!
So, in the entire Northrend, there really aren't many places I can actually access?
Aside from the few places the Grand Duke allocated to the Forsaken, even Zul'Drak, the only place outside, is not so easy to deal with; it contains many beings close to Demigod level!
King Thoradin was unwilling to accept this, thinking that Northrend was already deep enough, but were the waters in other places just as deep?
