When the Draenei arrived in this world in their spaceship, the Naaru " D'ore " quickly ran out of energy and was buried by the Draenei, who then built Auchindoun.
Then they buried the dead Draenei here.
The Draenei probably wanted the souls of their people to be with the great Naaru, but in reality, what awaited the souls was not a good thing.
The Naaru who is heading towards death becomes the Dark Naaru, and needs to absorb soul energy to slowly recover.
Therefore, the wounded Naaru " K'ure " on Sacred Mountain Oshu'gun attracted the souls of the Orcs to the Naaru and absorbed them, which gradually led to the legend of the Ancestral Spirit and the most primitive Shaman doctrines of the Orcs.
D'ore, who went straight to his death, remained deep within Auchindoun, absorbing the energy of the Draenei's dead souls.
You see, many things are quite cruel if you really peel back the layers.
The Naaru are beings without good or evil; everything they do is in order to fight against the shadows.
Or more precisely, they are the product of the conflict between Holy Light and shadow.
The war between light and shadow is an eternal battle that can never end.
In the face of such eternity, good and evil are utterly meaningless.
Therefore, the Naaru would not feel guilty about devouring the souls of Draenei or Orcs.
This is the cruel truth.
Centuries have passed, and this slow process is nearing its end. D'ore has absorbed an unknown amount of soul energy and is practically on the verge of resurrection.
Of course, that's not enough.
At least for now, he is still in his Dark Naaru form, the Void God.
In fact, it is said that the Shadow Council's ability to summon Murmur is also related to D'ore.
It was by utilizing D'ore's ability to absorb souls that they were able to summon Murmur.
In fact, the ancient planet Draenor had already been terraformed by the Titans.
Before the arrival of the Draenei and Naaru, this place had its own ecological cycle and life-and-death cycle.
The appearance of the Naaru " K'ure " brought Shaman teachings to the Orcs;
The existence of the Naaru " D'ore " attracted the Shadow Council, leading to the emergence of Murmur and the Auchindoun explosion;
The existence of another Naaru, " K'ara," ultimately led to the creation of the " Dark Star," the Shadowmoon Clan's adoption of shadow magic, and everything that followed, culminating in the destruction of the entire planet Draenor.
That's how the Outland came to be.
Naaru were never a bad thing, but they weren't a good thing either.
They are just like that, devoid of good or evil.
Just as Holy Light never guides good nor fights evil, it only fights against shadows.
As for Fel and the Undead?
Sorry, but Holy Light is indeed very effective against demons and Undead. However, Fel can also corrupt creatures that are protected by Holy Light. It all comes down to which is stronger.
Both the Naaru and the Holy Light are neutral.
Good and evil exist because of the believer himself.
Jiang Jie entered the Auchenai Crypts, followed by Ramdor and the other Draenei.
The Draenei's faith in the Naaru and the Holy Light is indeed beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.
This belief allows them to trust even a stranger they've just met—it's strange, but that's the truth.
This is also why Jiang Jie came here.
"Huh? There are outsiders here!"
"It's Ramdor, and the others! Weren't they driven out because they refused to follow Archbishop Maladaar? Why are they back now?"
"No! Look, what's that? It's Holy Light! Such powerful Holy Light! What's inside the Holy Light? It looks like... a fragment of the Naaru?"
"It's a fragment of Naruture! I've heard its legends and seen it in ancient texts!"
These Draenei, driven mad and desperate after the Auchindoun explosion, believed that all other Draenei had been slaughtered by the Orcs.
They thought the future was bleak; the place they were in was filled with the aura of shadow and death, devoid of Holy Light or even sunlight.
In such an environment, they don't even receive a response from the Holy Light!
Helpless, these desperate Draenei, these death priests who had originally served the dead here, and the other guards, under the leadership of Archbishop Maladaar, began to study Necromancy, to study the soul, and to touch the shadows.
They wanted to preserve everything from the past, to remain with the spirits of the dead.
As their tribe dwindles, they must coexist with the spirits of the dead.
More importantly, when they discovered that their most respected and revered Narudori had transformed into a Dark Naru radiating shadow energy and absorbing soul energy, they began to believe:
This is also Naaru's guidance.
And so, everything we have today came to be.
Until now.
They saw the Holy Light again, which meant they saw hope again.
My compatriots!
Ramduel proclaimed, "Prophet Velen is alive! Archbishop Nuboton is alive! Many of our people are still alive! They will repair the Woshugu spaceship and heal Narukur! The Holy Light is with us! This is the messenger of the Holy Light! He has come to redeem us!"
Holy Light...
With us?
Really?
The Holy Light is still there? But why is everything dark before my eyes?
Are the tribespeople still alive?
Is the prophet still alive?
Is there still hope? A faint glimmer of hope shining through the darkness of despair?
The Draenei's eyes were filled with hope.
They all knelt down.
Kneel down devoutly.
They are on a pilgrimage.
We worship the Holy Light, we worship Naruture.
Jiang Jie continued walking forward.
Ramdor continued to follow.
Then more Draenei followed.
They converged into a torrent.
A torrent of Holy Light and hope.
The fragments of T'uure emitted beams of Holy Light, which fell upon the Draenei, Dispel the Shadow energy within them and restoring their response to the Holy Light.
Some people began to shed tears.
This feeling of being recognized again is wonderful!
And those Draenei ghosts.
In this peculiar place, they coexist with the living Draenei, yet they dare not approach the Narudori, for fear of being devoured by them.
Now that they have seen the fragments of Naruture, they all kneel down, seeking salvation.
Walking through the Hall of Reincarnation and across the Soul Bridge, Jiang Jie let his spirit experience the journey unfold.
He was experiencing death, experiencing the soul.
Feel everything.
This was a rare feeling, allowing him to truly experience the power of his soul.
Soon, Jiang Jie saw a huge, Observer monster.
Shirrak the Dead Watcher, a monster created by Archbishop Maladaar, is specifically tasked with guarding the wandering Draenei souls here.
Not everyone obeys Maladaar's orders; there are always some who think he is wrong and oppose him.
Instead of killing them, Maladaar chose to bring them under control and have Shirrak keep them in custody.
He was never a bloodthirsty person, and his purpose in maintaining his rule was not to rule.
Shirrak is a Legendary Observer with Legendary spellcasting abilities.
It quickly erected an anti-magic field and then unleashed a barrage of projectiles.
It obeys Maladaar's orders and does not allow anyone to pass through here, no matter who.
Jiang Jie did not make a move.
The fragment of T'uure emitted a dazzling Holy Light, enveloping it.
Moments later, the Observer died.
The Holy Light Naaru will not intentionally take anyone's life, but Jiang Jie will.
The T'uure fragment no longer has autonomy; it can only obey Jiang Jie's orders.
This was an attempt by Jiang Jie.
If the T'uure fragments resist, Jiang Jie wouldn't mind destroying them directly.
An uncontrollable guy has no reason to stay.
If he could destroy Xal'atath, he would have done so long ago!
Continuing forward, we arrived at the Hall of the Unresting.
Coffins were everywhere.
Many of the coffins had been opened, and they were empty.
Some skeletons are wandering around here.
These are the corpses of the Draenei, originally buried here, but now desecrated and awakened by Archbishop Maladaar, turning them into skeletons.
They are suffering.
They will not rest in peace.
Let them rest in peace.
Holy Light shone upon them, and skeletons fell straight down, while Draenei souls floated out.
They finally found peace and then joined the Draenei army behind Jiang Jie.
Keep walking forward.
We arrived at the Tombs of Remembrance.
There are more resurrected skeletons here, and also some Draenei necromancers who have resurrected them.
Below the steps in the very center of the tomb is a huge coffin, the kind that could fit a giant lying inside.
Deep within, a Draenei dressed in archbishop's robes saw Jiang Jie and the Naaru Ture fragments floating beside him, and exclaimed in surprise:
"Fragments of Naruture... What's going on...?"
