"The situation is that we have returned to the embrace of the Holy Light, to the embrace of the Naaru!"
Before Ramdor, he declared righteously, " Maladaar, you are wrong! Souls deserve rest, not disturbance! You try to resurrect them with Necromancy, but you are only resurrecting skeletons and bones, not our people!"
" Ramdor, what do you know!"
Archbishop Maladaar waved his arms wildly, his voice laced with madness and despair. "You know nothing! I can only resurrect them, I have no other way! Do you know how many souls of our people have been devoured? What... what else can we do?"
Ramdor remained silent.
They had disagreements, and neither could convince the other.
The Dark Narudori has been devouring the souls of the Draenei, a fact they have all come to realize.
Ramdor only wanted to keep the Draenei spirits away from D'ore, but Maladaar wanted to resurrect the Draenei, because of their people...
There really aren't many left.
Of course, the main reason is:
The Draenei followed Velen always used Holy Light magic, while the Draenei remained here, being too close to D'ore and influenced by its Shadow energy, increasingly tended to use shadow magic.
Coupled with the Auchindoun bombing, he had already gone mad and become paranoid.
No one can persuade a madman.
Archbishop Maladaar was never a bad person; he was just a pitiful one.
To save this poor person, we must address the root cause.
The key is right before our eyes.
Jiang Jie his hand, and the huge stone coffin lid flew off, revealing the Dark Naaru inside, radiating endless Shadow energy.
D'ore slowly floated up.
Jiang Jie smiled slightly.
Although this Dark Naaru emanates Shadow energy, its core is actually radiating intense Holy Light.
He absorbed so much soul energy that he's almost fully recovered.
If, according to the original history, the adventurers ultimately killed a large number of Draenei in Auchenai Crypts and killed Archbishop Maladaar, causing D'ore to absorb more soul energy, it could indeed be resurrected.
But now that Jiang Jie has arrived, there's no reason for him to let those people die.
He raised his hand, and a beam of Holy Light fell upon D'ore.
It doesn't take much, but it's enough to complete the final step.
The intense Holy Light ignited the seed of Holy Light within its body, which then spread throughout its entire being.
D'ore once again radiated a rich light.
It has come back to life!
The surging Holy Light revived, and the Demigod- level Holy Light energy illuminated the entire Tombs of Remembrance.
The Draenei knelt on the ground.
Jiang Jie looked at the Naaru in front of him with some surprise.
He sensed the energy intensity emanating from this Naaru; he had only just stepped into the Demigod realm.
Almost every Naaru is Demigod, but not Demigod Demigod the same.
Deori possesses only the Holy Light energy of someone who has just entered the Legendary rank. In reality, it is not even comparable to Velen, nor to the largest fragment of Naruturi.
It's really nothing special.
Naaru also have ranks.
D'ore is roughly the same as K'ure, perhaps the most ordinary Naaru.
According to Velen, T'uure was one of the oldest Naaru, roughly on par with " Mother of Holy Light " Xe'ra and A'dal. Perhaps in terms of energy intensity alone, he had already reached the pinnacle of the Demigod level.
The Naaru are simply not good at fighting, at least not the Holy Light Naaru.
Therefore, Xe'ra was destroyed by Illidan, and the wounded K'ure couldn't stop even Orc Warlock and a matriarch.
Ultimately, they are just batteries.
But they are also the most abundant libraries in the universe because they have lived long enough.
" D'ore... has been resurrected..."
With a murmur, Archbishop Maladaar stared blankly at the Holy Light Naaru before him, then suddenly plopped down on the ground.
He was somewhat confused.
Over the years, he has been very clear about what he has been doing.
He was once a member of the Draenei Council of Exarchs and was respected by all Draenei.
He is also the leader of all Draenei rest in shadow magic, the supreme ruler of the sacred tomb Auchindoun, and the chief priest of D'ore.
He led death priests and spirit priests to keep vigil here for the dead of D'ore and many Draenei, a vigil that has lasted for hundreds of years.
For the long-lived Draenei, a few hundred years is nothing.
What he found even longer were the decades following the Auchindoun bombing.
He felt like each day was an eternity.
He was well aware that his actions were considered insane by many Draenei, but he knew even more clearly:
There's nothing we can do about it.
He was simply looking for a solution when he had no other options, and then trying it out.
He never expected to succeed; in fact, doing this very thing became the driving force that kept him alive and allowed him to maintain a degree of rationality.
He was obsessed with it, and he went mad about it.
Until now.
However, D'ore miraculously revived.
So, have all my actions over the years truly been meaningful?
Maladaar suddenly had a feeling:
All the Draenei here, all the Draenei souls, have been redeemed; only I, I fear, will be forever condemned...
"Don't overthink it, Maladaar."
A gentle voice came, and a warm light fell upon Maladaar: " Auchindoun will take a long time to be purified, and the souls of the Draenei will take a long time to be soothed and attain eternal peace. I cannot change the cycle of the Naaru's lives, nor can I change anything I have done, but at least from now on, I can do what I want to do here, which is also what you want to do, isn't it?"
It's D'ore's voice!
Maladaar looked up at D'ore and murmured, "No, you did nothing wrong, D'ore! You went into the dark cycle for the sake of the Draenei. Perhaps sacrificing the souls of the Draenei to resurrect you was only right..."
"Then join me in bringing peace to the souls of the Draenei and protecting them here," D'ore said.
"Am I... really okay?" Maladaar seemed to have been brainwashed.
Deep down, he probably still believed in the Holy Light and the Naaru, but he was blinded by despair.
Now, D'ore has rekindled his inner faith, so he...
We pray again for a response from the Holy Light.
Then he received a response.
Maladaar stood up.
He is now, once again, the Archbishop of the Draenei and the Spokesperson for the Dead.
He and these Draenei will continue to keep vigil here, the living and the dead together.
"Then, it's your turn, young human."
D'ore said, "The moment I awoke, I contacted K'ure and learned everything. Give me the T'uure fragment; you haven't fully awakened it yet. Now, let me help you awaken it!"
Jiang Jie chuckled and gestured for him to proceed.
The T'uure fragment drifted to the front of the D'ore.
The brilliant Holy Light fell into it and resonated with it.
A few minutes later, the T'uure fragments emitted an even more dazzling light, a light that surpassed everything else.
This fragment of T'uure has been used by the Burning Legion for thousands of years. Even with Jiang Jie's abilities, and the abilities of Anveena, Lord Jaraxxus, and Xal'atath, they were unable to restore it to its former glory.
But D'ore can.
It's not because D'ore was stronger, but because they shared the same origin.
The fragments of T'uure have been revived!
