Jiang Jie discovered that Kael'thas had brought the Shen'dralar demon-draining apparatus to Demon Fall Canyon and learned that he and Illidan had allied. Their agreement sent Illidan toward the Tomb of Sargeras and promised Kael'thas an Arcan'dor seed to establish a High Elf settlement in the canyon.
