Jiang Jie and his allies defeated Fandral Staghelm and the Twilight Cultists, with Emperor Thaurissan preventing their escape. Jiang Jie captured Fandral alive and awaited his teacher, who was coming to decide what would happen to him.

• Old Chen overpowered Leyara while Jiang Jie struggled against Fandral Staghelm because Xal'atath restrained much of his energy.
• Jiang Jie used his blessings, Dragon's Call, and elemental avatars to turn the battle against Fandral and defeat him with two powerful divine dragons.
• Old Chen knocked Leyara down, and Brann shot Astaria as Coren and Brann gained the upper hand.
• Emperor Thaurissan revealed that he had sealed the hall against teleportation, while the Anvilrage Legion and Shadowforge Council subdued the Twilight Cultists.
