Cao Yu rescued Jiang Nannan’s mother and Huo Yuhao and Huo Yun'er, then brought Huo Yuhao to Shrek Academy and began building a food business there. He started classes, befriended Wang Dong and his classmates, and ended the stretch using his earnings and rewards to pursue new Soul Bone and lottery upgrades.
Cao Yu helped Ma Xiaotao suppress her Evil Fire while growing closer to Wang Dong and Xiao Xiao. His team went undefeated through the freshman assessment and advanced in the knockout rounds, while he and Wang Dong discovered a powerful Martial Soul Fusion Skill.
Cao Yu led Wang Dong and Xiao Xiao to the freshman championship, advanced to Soul Ancestor, and became entangled in clan conflict and Sun Moon Empire research. After rescuing the Cao Clan branch and spending time with Xu Jiujiu, he returned to Shrek Academy, where the advancement assessment began.
Cao Yu led Shrek’s reserve team through training, a mission against Evil Soul Masters, and the Star Luo City tournament while pursuing his Soul Tool research and growing entangled with several women. Shrek defeated the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy in the final, and Cao Yu gave Ma Xiaotao a bracelet to control her Evil Fire and resist the Sword of Judgment.
Cao Yu returned to Shrek with the championship, advanced his research and raised the Snow Empress, then joined the exchange program at the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy. After impressing its students and staff, he passed a series of battles and was offered a place in Mingde Hall’s underground manufacturing base.
Cao Yu hunted powerful ice-attribute Soul Beasts, returned to the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy, and advanced his Soul Tool skills while becoming Meng Hongchen’s boyfriend. A beach trip brought him closer to Ju Zi as well, and the arc ended with Cao Yu earning his Level 6 Soul Engineer badge.
Cao Yu left the Sun Moon Empire with Meng Hongchen and other companions, returned to Shrek Academy, and reunited with old friends while its Soul Tool Department advanced. The stretch ended at the Sea God Lake Matchmaking Convention, where several couples formed and Tang Ya and Ning Tian revealed their ties to Cao Yu.
Cao Yu’s relationships deepened as he trained with Shrek and prepared for the continental tournament. After building an undead army, he led Shrek to victories and faced the Holy Spirit Sect, where he extracted information about its hiding place.
Cao Yu led Shrek Academy to the tournament championship, then returned to Shrek and helped prepare the Star Luo Empire for war while pursuing his relationships and scientific projects. Months later, he became dean of the newly established Academy of Sciences and addressed its students.
Cao Yu married his thirteen fiancées, took up work in the Star Luo Empire, and prepared for war as Xu Tianran launched an attack on the other empires. Cao Yu’s new weapons forced the Sun Moon Empire to surrender, while he reached level 100 and the system began upgrading.
