The captured man stared at Mu Fan with unusually bright eyes, his pupils filled with bone-deep hatred as he clenched his teeth and refused to speak.

He casually released the man and walked forward.
A vicious glint flashed through the eyes of the Red Stone guard behind him.
He spotted the Red Stone Crossbow on the ground, quietly crouched down to pick it up, and violently pulled the trigger.

Then his eyes widened.
Because in his sight, that figure seemed to sway lightly, shifting half a meter sideways. His left hand had somehow risen, his fingertips gripping the tail of the crossbow bolt.
With a backhand throw.
A blurred afterimage flashed past.
The Red Stone guard's eyes widened as a crossbow bolt pierced his throat.
Looking up at the sky from the ground, he crashed down hard, already devoid of life.

Mu Fan entered the dense grass and saw the passage blocked by an enormous boulder.
