Mu Fan truly had no energy to deal with this chatterbox Black. In amazement, he crossed the boarding bridge and saw through the glass barrier that beneath his feet lay a true bottomless abyss. Their destination was the enormous steel mountain before them. The butler methodically led Mu Fan into a private compartment. As the mechanical door opened, four sofa seats sat quietly beneath dim blue lighting. Mu Fan walked over and fastened his safety buckle as instructed.

"Young Master Mu Fan, this is the Fowen Conglomerate's private compartment. Please sit securely. There will be a sensation of weightlessness when we pass through the Earth's core. This is normal, so please do not panic," the butler reminded him kindly.

"Tut, another wave of showing off is coming." Lord Black spoke indignantly through the earpiece. Mu Fan's refusal to acknowledge him left him quite dissatisfied.

Mu Fan nodded. "All right." He said nothing more and closed his eyes to rest.

Amid the sound of meshing machinery, Mu Fan could feel his body slowly descending along with the steel mountain, then accelerating. The entire Earth-Core Car plummeted down the tracks at high speed. Yet the feeling of weightlessness was not as strong as he had imagined, not even as intense as piloting a First Generation Unit into a ground projection in the PO Battle Network.

Fifteen minutes passed in the blink of an eye. The brief weightlessness along the way merely gave Mu Fan a novel experience. This is the crystallization of technology, Mu Fan marveled inwardly.

Black could not read minds, so naturally he had no idea what Mu Fan was thinking. If he had known, Mu Fan would surely have heard Black's mocking tone again by now.

How had such a shameless intelligent lifeform come into existence?
