Nameless in Life, Remembered for Eternity

On the ship carrying out a high-altitude patrol under orders from its superiors, the enormous surveillance light screen clearly captured the scene below.

At the center of a ring of ruins, a brutally mutilated corpse stared blankly up at the sky.

Most chilling of all, a figure stood quietly beside the corpse, silently watching the Patrol Ship they were on.

Clearly, this was the perpetrator. Even after seeing their ship, he had no intention of moving.

Everything was strange. The officers before the light screen exchanged glances, but no one spoke.

Finally, a captain's adjutant forced his gaze away and saluted the major. "Please issue your orders for the next course of action, sir."

"Our mission was to monitor this area. Descend and prepare to detain the perpetrator. Determine the truth of what happened."

With that, the major made the final decision.
