"Mu Fan? Mu Fan?"
"Hey, wake up, great host."
"Little Fan!"
Black's frantic shouts finally brought a bit of focus back to Mu Fan's eyes.
"I'm here..."
Hearing the confusion in his voice, Black hurriedly asked, "What did that tin can say to you? Your heart rate was extremely abnormal just now, and your brain neurons were firing abnormally. What happened?"
That tin can Shura had to be brainwashing its great host. Lord Black could not tolerate that!
"I think... I may have touched upon the truth."
Mu Fan murmured.
"The truth? What kind of truth could shock you this much? You practically look the same as when you first met me."
"Shura doesn't belong to this universe... Then I... probably don't belong to this universe either."
Mu Fan raised his head and stared blankly at the ceiling.
This news alone would take him quite a while to process.
Black froze as well.
Its voice caught in its throat.
"Wait, this is a little messy. Let's sort it out from the beginning. You're saying that you might have come from the same place as me!?" Black's logical processing module was about to explode.
"I don't know if that's true. I only know that in that space, Shura didn't look the way it does now. It could rapidly heal itself after being damaged. I couldn't see any scenery in that space. I only knew that it was very dark, darker than ink."
Mu Fan's mind was no less chaotic than Black's.
"Ninety-one percent of my database has been lost. I cannot effectively retrieve information about the original universe plane. Based on the information you have provided, Shura may have come from the same plane as me, or it may have come from another plane."
"This is... exciting."
Black muttered to itself
