The glaring sunlight streamed into the room through the open curtains. Lu Keran frowned and pulled the blanket over her head.
Then footsteps were heard nearby, and after a while, the curtains were drawn.
Lu Keran eyes closed, "Aren't you going to the company today?"
"No, I'll stay with you today," Lu Xuanran replied without looking at anything else, holding a document in his hand.
"Who wants you to keep me company? You're so annoying, ugh~." Lu Keran twitched on the bed, accidentally aggravating her sore back.

I lingered in bed for a while longer before getting up to go to the bathroom to wash up.
Seeing the dense red spots all over my body in the mirror while brushing my teeth made me even angrier.

Gu Wancheng obediently did as she was told. Jiang Yu was stunned and looked at Chu Yi'an in surprise, realizing that he had just been deluding himself.
