Duan Yueyang before, immediately became wary.
The six people looked at each other, the atmosphere tense. Ji Chi stepped forward, took Wen He's hand, and left the place of trouble.
"My pigeons! They haven't come back yet..."
Wen He looked worriedly at the white dove on the pillar. It was currently perched on the light bulb, but as if it had heard Wen He's call, it quickly flew down and finally landed on Wen He's shoulder.
"Okay, let's go. Where's the hat?" Ji Chi was about to reach out and flick the tuft of hair on Wen He's head when he suddenly realized that the hat he had given Wen He was gone.
"Hat?..." Wen He paused, as if suddenly remembering something and about to return to the church, when Ji Chi grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back.
"Never mind, one more won't make a difference," Ji Chi said with concern, his palm showing a slight chill in the arm beneath his hand. "Aren't you cold?"
"It's a little chilly," Wen He's Ji Chi for warmth...
The white dove seemed to understand human nature, hopping left and right, and occasionally flying down to them.
Those on the ship understood what was going on when they saw the two approaching in such an intimate manner.
Zhang Shengsheng spotted the white dove on Wen He's shoulder at a glance. Although he was curious, he didn't rush forward, afraid of accidentally startling the bird.
"White doves from Saint Ma Island? It seems Xiao He is a lucky one."
Wei Xun clearly knew the symbolism of the white dove, and he said excitedly.
"Thank you," Wen He replied with a smile.
Ji Chi reached out to touch the white dove's beak again, but this time it didn't bite him; it simply turned its head away.
Wen He suddenly regretted his thoughts from the evening... Perhaps he shouldn't have kept it in captivity, but should have let it soar freely in the sky.
" Ji Chi, can we still return the birdcage?"
"What's wrong?" Ji Chi withdrew his hand.
"I don't want to keep it anymore... maybe it should continue living on the island."
Wen He's tone was serious. Ji Chi reached out and rubbed the corner of his eyebrow, nodding, "You can return it. It's better not to keep it. It's too much trouble; you have to take care of its food, water, and toilet needs."
"Mmm," Wen He laughed happily. The bird seemed to sense something and flew back to the island from his shoulder.
Several people in the distance walked towards the ship, laughing and chatting. Their expressions were inscrutable, making it impossible to guess the outcome.
The production team always does this; they never reveal the ending.
Zhang Shengsheng curiously moved closer, pestering Zhou Siyu for an answer.
Zhou Siyu didn't hide anything and openly told him that she and Jiang Yu had won.
They can still win in a two-on-one situation!
The sky was completely dark, and Wen He dared not look at the dark sea. He lowered his head and blew on the faintly cracked wound on his knee.
Ji Chi half-squatted in front of him, the boat rocking slightly. He held Wen He He's hand and looked at his knees, which were already oozing white fluid.
"I had my assistant buy some medicine. Just bear with it for now; it'll be fine once the medicine is applied at the cabin."
Ji Chi carefully examined the wound and, after confirming that no sand had gotten into it, sat down beside him with peace of mind.
"I need to take a shower first..."
Ji Chi looked at him disapprovingly, reached out and poked his forehead, her tone serious and earnest, "No, what if the wound gets wet and gets infected? What if it festers?"
"No, a film has already formed on its surface. I asked Doctor Wang, and he said it's fine."
Ji Chi narrowed his eyes, staring at him, his voice lowering, "Who is Doctor Wang?"
"A doctor I know..." Wen He's heart raced, and he widened his eyes slightly, as if realizing he had said the wrong thing.
Ji Chi reached out and pinched his cheek, without asking any questions. He knew that Doctor Wang should be his attending physician.
After a shaky and bumpy journey, the group finally arrived on the mainland.
Wen He was so hungry he was almost dizzy. He took Ji Chi's arm, and the group moved to the hut again.
The dining room inside was already filled with all kinds of delicious food. Everyone was starving, so no one chatted much. After washing their hands, they casually sat down and started eating.
Ji Chi filled a large bowl with rice for Wen He, and also served her a separate bowl of delicious clam soup with plenty of clam meat.
It wasn't until the warm, delicious soup filled his entire mouth that Wen He felt he had survived.
No one chatted at the dinner table; everyone was busy eating.
Wen He ate two cola chicken wings in Ji Chi go, and Ji Chi put some vegetables in his bowl.
"Eat more vegetables, and your wound will heal faster."
"Knew."
Wen He imitated Ji Chi and put a piece of chili-fried egg into his bowl.
He remembered that Ji Chi liked spicy food.
Ji Chi stared at the scrambled eggs with chili peppers in his bowl, his mouth almost stretched to his ears in a wide grin. He devoured the eggs, saying, "I want more."
Wen He that he enjoyed the food, Wen He put a few more pieces on his plate.
Ji Chi... and he didn't know who had ordered it.
[ Xiao He, please don't reward him anymore!]
[ Ji Chi is so happy about that piece of sand. It's just a chopstick of egg, isn't it?]
[What do you know? There's my wife's saliva on the chopsticks, so fragrant~]
[Ugh, ugh, ugh~ I feel so disgusted~]
[It was supposed to be sweet, but now that you've said that, it feels a bit disgusting to me.]
After dinner, everyone went upstairs to wash up and rest, wanting to save their best for tomorrow's date.
Ji Chi carried the medicine and went straight to Wen He's room.
Bang bang bang--
As soon as Wen He heard the knocking, she knew who it was.
" Ji Chi, I haven't finished showering yet, so I can't apply the medicine."
"Go take a shower. I've put the medicine on the table; I'll check it later."
Ji Chi placed the medicine on the table and left the room. He hadn't washed up yet; he figured he could go after he showered.
Ji Chi returned to his room, took a quick shower, and then, wearing shorts and a bathrobe, headed towards Wen He's room. He didn't lock the door when he came out.
After naturally slipping into the other person's room, they locked the door from the inside.
The hair was still dripping wet, and the hairdryer seemed to be in the bathroom.
The sound of running water came from the bathroom. Ji Chi sat on Wen He's bed, looking down at his phone.
Hearing the noise outside, Wen He cautiously turned off the shower. " Ji Chi... is that you?"
"Yes, it's me."
Hearing the familiar voice, Wen He breathed a sigh of relief and put the clothes she was holding back.
Ji Chi takes a shower really fast...
Wen He walked out of the bathroom, his hair Ji Chi steaming from the towel he was drying. Wen He leaned against his bed, water droplets from his hair staining the bedding.
Wen He quickly lowered her head... her ear tips turned even redder under the heat.
Ji Chi... why aren't you wearing any clothes... and you've even soaked your blankets.
Wen He lowered her head, not daring to look at Ji Chi sitting on the bed in a seductive pose.
"Why aren't you drying your hair?" Ji Chi strode forward and took out a hairdryer from the bathroom. Wen He sat obediently on the bed, waiting for him to serve her.
Seeing his arrogant demeanor, Ji Chi forcefully shoved the hairdryer into his hand.
"You blow it for me first."
