The next morning
The man was very conscientious; he took the recipe and, with his extraordinary talent, cooked the meal.
Orcs recover easily; last night, he felt like his back and legs ached, and his bones were about to fall apart.
By the way, wasn't it said that there were... snakes?
Lia walked up to the man, hugged him, and said coquettishly, "Honey... snakes aren't..."
Quinn was somewhat amused and exasperated. "After transforming into human form, I am a human, not a snake."
He paused, then said, "I'm sorry, Lia... from now on I..."
When Lia heard Quinn suddenly apologize, he was startled and quickly pushed away from the man's embrace, saying warily, "You're not going to tell me you still have some 'white moonlight' (a term for someone who is unrequited love), are you?"
Quinn couldn't help but chuckle, and slowly leaned down to whisper in his ear, "The you in my dreams is my white moonlight. What I mean is, you'll have to work hard from now on."
Lia lowered his head, his face slightly flushed. He, too, had a dream version of Quinn, a dream in which Quinn lay for a long time, and he stayed by Quinn's side every day, telling him all sorts of nonsensical stories...
But Quinn didn't wake up even after a long time.
He thought Quinn would never wake up, but thankfully the dream ended and he returned to reality. He guessed he was just too tired lately, which was why he had such a dream.
"Let's take a break these next couple of days and go shopping?" Quinn suddenly suggested.
Lia had little concept of shopping and rarely went out. In other words, she was no different from the women confined to their homes in the feudal society of Ancient Blue Star.
"Buzz..."
A call request popped up on the computer. Lia released the person, saying, "You answer it first."
Quinn nodded, but when he opened the app, all he saw was Feng Ming's stunning face. Quinn felt nothing; his Lia was still the most beautiful.
"What's up?"
"Boss, your car has been recognized. Were you speeding on Sunshine Flight Path yesterday? People online are saying you're too violent and don't care about public safety."
Lia: "..." Goodness, I never thought my husband would be a scapegoat.
He cleared his throat and leaned closer to Quinn, saying, "I drove it, not Quinn. As for the PR, just say it's a no-speed-limit road, there's nothing to explain. I advise those who want to cause trouble to think carefully about the consequences."
Lia's words stunned Feng Ming on the other side.
No, it's no wonder we share a bed; his tone and manner of handling things are so direct. He thought he would be more tactful.
Lia didn't do it on purpose; it's just that she hasn't had any real combat lately. Playing Star Network with others can only improve her Spiritual Power, but her physique hasn't received strong training yet.
Perhaps it will take beating up a few more people to get under control.
The outlaw couple unexpectedly share some common interests.

After hanging up Feng Ming's call, Lia looked at the large table of food and sighed, "It's so good to be rich!"
The table was laden with food, and just the cost of buying the ingredients made Lia feel the pinch, but thankfully her husband could afford it.
"You did all of this?"
Quinn's lips curled into a smile, "How was it?"
Lia was happy; someone would cook for her from now on!
He had a lovely laugh, and then went on to praise Quinn's cooking skills, Quinn's talent, and how handsome Quinn looked even while cooking!
Quinn was so flattered that he forgot all about home and ended up taking over the cooking. "From now on, I'll handle all the cooking! You hear me!"
Lia, so gentle and seemingly forced to relinquish her mastery of the kitchen, wondered if this child was sometimes naive or acting on purpose.
The man rubbed his head. "Alright, dinner's ready!"
Indeed, Quinn put in a lot of effort. There were some dishes he had never made before, and he gave up because he thought they were too difficult.
"It's delicious, honey, you're amazing!"
The man smiled contentedly, as happy as a bear that had finally picked an ear of corn. He grinned foolishly; his wife truly loved him, praising him so much that he was almost embarrassed.

Upon seeing the Academy of Sciences of Sciences' latest public relations statement, the head of the Halley Family smashed a water glass on the ground, the sound of shattering glass echoing crisply in the conference hall.
" Zhaxika, you're truly brainless! Not only are you reckless, but you've also left loose ends for others! I think you don't want to stay in this house anymore! As the young master of the Halley family, you're so stupid; I think you can forget about your inheritance! Get out of here, confined for three months," he said, then turned to the people around him, "Anyone who dares to let you out, I'll tear their legs off!"
The patriarch's authority and intimidation were no joke. Zhaxika's body trembled, but his heart was still filled with resentment, disdain, and contempt.
Zhaxika Halley was the leopard who insulted Lia in the palace; he raised his eyes and nodded obediently.
He lowered his head and sneered. Quinn couldn't do anything to him anyway; did she really want to kill him?
-
Lia was unaware that someone else was stubbornly trying to take advantage of him.
Today, Quinn and I went shopping offline in a high-profile manner. The Central Mall is the largest shopping plaza in the interstellar space. It is a shopping plaza with no price distinctions. It can accommodate up to 200 million people and can also dock several starships. The complex is extremely large and vast.
As soon as she entered, Lia felt a bit stuffy.
Noticing that his wife was not feeling well, Quinn quickly filtered and freshened the air around Lia.
His Spiritual Power also has a calming effect on his partner, especially during heat. Speaking of which, his Lia is about to go into heat, so he needs to prepare more things.
Lia held Quinn's hand, and her body instantly relaxed.
The orcs coming and going here, if he couldn't smell the odor, he would think all the orcs in the mall were perfectly normal.
If everything were to revert to its original form, then this place would be no different from the animal kingdom. But no, interstellar space is inherently an animal kingdom.
Lia found it increasingly amusing, so she took Quinn's hand and led her to a clothing store. The clothes inside... well, there weren't many kinds; they were mostly black, white, gray, blue, and purple—very monotonous.
"Honey, let's not browse the clothing section anymore, how about we go to the potted plant section instead? The house is so bare and lifeless except for the crops."
Quinn grasped his hand in return, smiled gently, and led the group up the cloud ladder.
The Cloud Ladder was originally transparent to avoid startling small orcs or cubs, but it has been changed to an enclosed structure.
"Honey, is this your first time at the mall since you became an adult?"
Lia nodded slowly, his eyes sparkling, and one could still see that he was a little excited.
The elevator opened shortly after. This was the 88th floor of the shopping mall, a towering building that seemed to reach into the clouds. There was a thin layer of mist on the rooftop, and the sky was somewhat hazy.
"Welcome, gentlemen. How can I help you?" The robot sales assistant, who was about half their height, looked both serious and adorable to Lia.
"Honey, let's pick out a few more dishes that look good, and then go to another section and pick out some little trinkets, okay?"
Quinn nodded. "Okay, whatever you say, my dear wife."
Lia's eyes were practically sparkling with joy, which made Quinn clutch his chest. They had just done those things last night, yet Lia seemed remarkably calm.
This made Quinn question his own abilities; was he simply not good enough?
Should we add a few more layers of combat power tonight?
No, his little darling is too fragile. What if he goes too far? Lia isn't at his level yet...
Having tasted meat, the man's thoughts wandered as he selected oddly shaped plants.
Lia watched with amusement as Quinn selected a plate of pitcher plants and placed it on the robot's packing rack.
These pitcher plants might actually be useful. Remembering the bugs that had been crawling on the wall the other day, Lia thought she should buy more.
