He sent the NS-5 army to guard the Gate of Space against invaders from the Muyou Continent while he continued investigating his own mysterious abilities.

• Ling Yi learned from NS-5 that the Gate of Space was one-way and that only people with divine power could remain unaffected by it, then named NS-5 Ling Yi.

• Liu Shan told Ling Yi that Liu Baicheng had visited his dream and promised him power and immortality in exchange for the Nether Domain Seal, but Liu Shan had no interest in the plan.
• Ling Yi learned that other Underworld city lords might also recruit descendants, so he resolved to move the toy factory and discussed using NS-5s as workers with Fu Qingyun, Bai Xiaoyao, and Zhan Yan.
