The metallic Golden Egg can be opened, and once opened, a very soft sound effect will come out from inside, the volume gentle, like something whispering in the distance.
A small sign stood nearby that read, "Built-in soft sound effects, recreating whispers in Chamber of Secrets."
"What's that sound?" a boy asked, leaning closer.
"You can open it and listen," the shop assistant said with a smile.
He reached out and twisted it, and the Golden Egg cracked open, releasing a low hissing sound that was impossible to discern.
"Could it be... Parseltongue?"
"Yes, that's it. The kind of sound described in the book."
The boy closed the Golden Egg, examined it carefully from all angles, then turned to his mother behind him and said, "Mom, I want this."
In addition to these core collectible items, the shelves also display many smaller peripheral items.
Fawkes toys, Aragog Q-version spider keychains, Dobby plush toys are all neatly arranged on the shelves in the plush toy section.
Next to it is a row of everyday practical items: a snake-shaped mirror for the bathroom, petrified-themed glasses, and Quidditch scarves.
The back of the mirror is printed with snake patterns, and when opened, a line of small words appears on the inside of the lid. " The Chamber of Secrets has been opened."
The glass is printed with the silhouette of a petrified student. When hot water is poured in, the image gradually fades and disappears, only to reappear when it cools down.
"This cup..." a shop assistant was demonstrating to a customer, "Look, pour hot water in, and the pattern disappears. It's like de-petrifying. It reappears when it cools down."
"This design is amazing!" The customer picked up the cup and examined it from all angles. "Who came up with this?"
"I don't know, maybe it's someone from the publishing house."
Further inside is a row of creative stationery: Chamber of Secrets- themed stamp and postcard sets, crying Moaning Myrtle transparent bookmarks, and "Do Not Enter "Chamber of Secrets warning sticker packs...
There is also a replica of the Chamber of Secrets special edition of the Hogwarts school newspaper, the Daily Prophet, with the bold black headline "Several Hogwarts Students Petrified" on the front page, accompanied by a photo of Mrs. Norris.
"This can be used as a prop," a young girl said to her friend, holding up the replica newspaper. "I can bring it to the costume convention next time."
Further inside is the jewelry section, where a simple serpentine silver ring, Fawkes tail feather necklace, and Dobby sock pendant are displayed in small, velvet-lined compartments.
The snake ring features two snakes intertwined, very delicate and intricate, almost unnoticeable unless you look closely.
"This ring is beautiful," a girl said after trying it on, "Understated yet exquisite."
" Fawkes's necklace is also nice, it's a red and gold gradient."
"That Dobby sock charm is kind of funny, but it's kind of cute."
Then came the busiest section: blind box figurines.
A complete set of Chamber of Secrets box figurines was displayed in front of the counter, featuring characters such as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Tom Riddle, Dobby, and Moaning Myrtle, with the hidden version being Fawkes.
Each one is packaged in a small, opaque box; you can shake it and still not guess what's inside.
"I want Tom Riddle," a boy said, shaking the box in his hand.
I want Moaning Myrtle.
"I want the Fawkes, but I heard the rare edition is especially hard to get."
On the shelves next to the counter are 3D puzzles depicting Chamber of Secrets scenes and themed scented candles.
The finished puzzle is a miniature Chamber of Secrets scene, with very detailed stone walls and snake sculptures.
The scented candles come in three scents: " Chamber of Secrets " is a combination of damp stone and mossy woody notes, " Fawkes " is a combination of warm citrus and smoky pine, and " Forbidden Forest " is a combination of earthy and pine needle notes.
"This Chamber of Secrets- scented candle really does smell like stone," one customer said, picking it up and smelling it. "It's amazing."
" The Fawkes one smells like oranges."
Last but not least is the most expensive limited edition gift box. The dark green box has a snake relief pattern from a stone wall printed on the front. The box is large and feels heavy in your hand.
Inside, there was a Riddle diary notebook, a Fawkes quill pen, a snake-shaped brooch, a set of postcards, and a miniature Golden Egg pendant.
How much does this gift box cost?
Ten pounds.
"This is such a great deal! If you bought them individually, they would definitely cost more than ten pounds."
I want one!
Over the next few days, these stories spread like wildfire among young people in the Muggle world.
People on the street started carrying canvas bags printed with the image of a Chamber of Secrets snake, and students at school were showing off the blind boxes they had won.
Some people brought Riddle's diary notebooks to class to take notes, but sometimes they would use the wrong ink, and the words they wrote would mysteriously disappear.
There's one thing everyone likes to do: open the Golden Egg pendant and listen to that Parseltongue whisper.
"It sounds like a snake talking."
"It was originally a snake that was talking; the book describes it as Parseltongue."
"But I can't hear it very clearly, the sound is too soft."
"Perhaps we need to get closer to listen."
In the Gryffindor Common Room at Hogwarts, Ron sat in an armchair by the fireplace, flipping through a black-covered diary.
The gold lettering on the cover of the diary gleamed slightly in the firelight, and the inner pages had an antique look, with some pages even bearing handwritten lettering.
He flipped through the notebook again and again, then closed it and frowned at Hermione sitting opposite him.
"You mean..." Ron began hesitantly, "Those... uh... merchandise your parents bought in the Muggle world?"
Hermione looked up from her book and nodded. "It's merchandise from 'The Chamber of Chamber of Secrets.' There are so many in the Muggle world. My parents sent me a few."
She reached out and pushed the pile of things on the table toward Ron.
Ron looked down and saw that, in addition to the Riddle Diary notebook, there was a snake-shaped brooch, a Fawkes quill pen, a transparent bookmark of Weeping Moaning Myrtle, a petrified-themed glass, and an unopened blind box figurine.
"These are all made by Muggle?" Ron picked up the snake-shaped brooch and examined it from all angles.
"They're all made by Muggle," Hermione said. "But they're very well made. Look at that brooch; the snake's eyes glow in the dark."
Ron brought the brooch close to his eyes to examine it, then put it down again, his gaze returning to the diary.
"This..." He tapped the cover of the diary, "How would Muggle know what Tom Riddle's diary looks like? There's no picture of the cover in the book."
"It's described in the book." Hermione rolled her eyes. " The Muggle publisher copied it exactly from the book."
"And this one?" Ron opened the diary, pointing to the handwritten marks on the inner pages. "Was this also made according to the book?"
"The book says that Harry wrote in his diary, the writing disappeared, and then Riddle replied in his own handwriting."
" Muggle publishers designed an erasable version; the writing disappears on its own after a few minutes."
At that moment, the door to the lounge was pushed open from the outside.
Fred and George walked in one after the other, and their eyes lit up when they saw the black diary in Ron's hand.
