Professor McGonagall had a rare free day, and after having Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, she decided to stop by and visit the Magic Mobile Phone Shop.
Before she even entered the door, she saw Harry and his two companions standing by the gate like doormen.
"Were you punished by standing in the corner?" Professor McGonagall asked, puzzled. "I saw many students go in and never come out. There must be some activities in the shop, why didn't you participate?"
"There's a queue for the arcade games," Ron said indignantly. "Only seventh graders can go into the basement. We're being discriminated against."
" Hogsmeade isn't Hogwarts," Professor McGonagall said seriously, though inwardly she was chuckling. " Director Lorne doesn't need to preach fairness here."
Ron pouted, still somewhat unconvinced. Harry and Hermione, on the other hand, had time to pull out their Magic Mobile Phone and browse the official information of the second Magic Mobile Phone store on Cuckoo.
" Professor McGonagall?" Lupin, still dressed in tattered clothes, looked like he was also visiting the Magic Mobile Phone shop. "And Harry, Ron, Hermione, are you here to buy Magic Mobile Phone too?"
"They all have it," Ron said dejectedly, "But I don't. I don't have any money."
"It's alright, I'm poor too." Lupin was quite philosophical about it.
"Perhaps you can wait until Christmas," Professor McGonagall said. "Last year, Lorne gave every faculty and staff member a Magic Mobile Phone, and I suspect there will be one this year as well. The Ministry of Magic's budget for Hogwarts is still sufficient."
Lupin nodded his thanks, tipped his hat, and continued walking into the store.
Seeing the two professors and the three children arrive together, Lorne immediately stepped forward to greet them, " Professor McGonagall, would you like Magic Mobile Phone case? Or perhaps a screen protector application service?"
"No need," Professor McGonagall waved her hand. " The Weasley family twins sold me one; it was hand-knitted by their mother at Hogwarts."
Lorne's face darkened; he knew someone would try to steal his business. But it didn't matter; Lorne usually treated phone cases and phone covers as freebies.
"What about a phone case that's temperature-controlled, sweat-proof, drop-proof, and has 100% magic conductivity?" Lorne pulled out his phone case, engraved with Magic Power Matrix, and promoted it. "It's not a simple spell that disappears over time; it's engraved with some kind of magic circle that will never disappear."
Professor McGonagall suddenly became interested. "You also know alchemy?"
Lorne shook his head. "I only know things related to Magic Mobile Phone. To be honest, I didn't even know I studied alchemy until you said that."
Lupin, with an air of familiarity, walked up to the front desk, glanced at Lorne, and signed his name on the registration form. "Excuse me, I'm going to see Little Banana Star."
Lorne had discussed this plan with both Lupin and Sirius. As the boss, he was responsible for Sirius's safety. Lupin was called over by Sirius to be a witness, and he told him that if anything happened to him, he could come to Lorne for compensation.
Hogsmeade has been facing searches by Dementor lately, but fortunately they only appear in the evening, and classes in the basement end in the afternoon.
Dementor have no sight; they identify people by the differences in their souls. Animagus cannot hide their souls either, but turning into a dog makes it easier to evade the Dementor ' pursuit. Dobby is also stationed in the basement, ready to use Apparition time, so that if the Ministry of Magic or Dementor suddenly break in, Dobby can take Sirius to safety.
" Director Lorne said there's someone in the basement who teaches alchemy related to Magic Mobile Phone." Harry cleverly rephrased the statement; Director Lorne hadn't mentioned the concept of the Magic Power Matrix, and he wouldn't bring it up himself.
"Oh?" Professor McGonagall became interested. "I'd love to learn from the teaching style of the Magic Mobile Phone Shop. Many of Lorne's novel methods at school are quite effective."
Professor McGonagall also went to the front desk. She saw many seventh-grade students' names on the registration form, which made her even more interested in learning more. Just as she was about to sign her name, Lorne suddenly pulled the registration form away.
"I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall, the basement is currently only open to seventh-year students; professors are not included."
Professor McGonagall's eyes widened. "But Lupin just went in."
Lorne didn't deny it, admitting directly, "He has privileges."
This time, Professor McGonagall gently shook her head. "That's not fair!"
" Hogsmeade isn't Hogwarts, Director Lorne doesn't need to preach fairness here," Ron suddenly interjected. "That's what you just said, Professor."
Lorne gave Ron an approving look.
Lorne's Magic Mobile Phone shop in Hogsmeade allowed many students who had never used Magic Mobile Phone before to experience its charm.
All afternoon, the Magic Mobile Phone Shop was packed with customers, and even Professor McGonagall couldn't resist watching the students' impressive feats of skill when she went upstairs.
Lorne finally had some free time. He stood at the front desk, watching Harry and Hermione sitting on chairs in the store playing with their Magic Mobile Phone. Ron sat between them, laughing and crying, clearly plotting something big.
When Lorne was setting up the arcade machines for his second Magic Mobile Phone shop, he realized that he wasn't far from completing the system's mission. Now, more than ten days have passed, and although he had spent a lot of money buying the arcade machines back then, he should have almost finished paying for them by now.
[Task: Gather the Power of Emotion of those like you]
[Progress: 19233/20000]
[Reward: Race Certification x1]
With only a few hundred points of Power of Emotion left, Lorne felt confident he could finish today no matter what, because he still had an important task to complete.
Halloween game update!
This year he plans to do something different. The collection of Power of Emotion is divided into contact and non-contact, with the former having a higher multiplier. Lorne wants to see what would happen if he updated the storage component in front of a large group of students.
From the moment he taught the soon-to-be graduates about the Magic Power Matrix of the Magic Mobile Phone, he had already decided that the Magic Mobile Phone would not exist solely in his hands. Even if he told Sirius to only teach the students how to depict the magic without explaining why, and to only make their bodies proficient without letting their minds understand, if even one of them betrayed him and started their own scheme, he would still get a share of the profits.
Lorne also took precautions, one of which was applying for patents.
The method for creating the Magic Mobile Phone will be made public, but what about the methods for creating games and other software? Lorne isn't sure if software created by others will grant him Power of Emotion, but even if it doesn't, he will still release it.
His individual strength is ultimately limited; for the Magic Mobile Phone to become popular worldwide, all wizards in society must participate together.
Besides, the software they create will boost the sales of the Magic Mobile Phone, so Lorne won't lose money no matter what.
